I drove 2,300 miles for the last Hamilton show. Easily the greatest show I have ever seen. Sad to see them end.

George, you were by far the most professional and dedicated musician I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Next time your in Ottawa your more than welcome to have a drink on me.

This band got me through high school. I've moved on, but they will always mean a lot to me no matter what genre of music I find myself listening to nowadays.

Thomas Epps - Same! Saw them for my 25th on Monday. My girl got us tickets. They do NOT disappoint. Hearing some of those song again.. and live. Just amazing.

2005 I made my dad take me to a concert they played in Baltimore, Maryland. I took a disposable camera there and still have the pictures hanging up on a cork board in my apartment.

I hitchhiked from Halifax to TO to see the 2nd last show with my brother. Best thing I've ever done

I agree the world still needs this band, I would give anything to see them live once again. One of the best shows I have ever seen

What a great fucking band.. I miss that band

People say they, especially Dallas had so much more to give. No one here making comments knows how each persons life was going. George told Dallas to put out sometimes. Dallas is thinking about his life and long term career and C&C is much more realistic. They are all in their 30's. That is a hard lifestyle to continually try and maintain. He didn't screw them. He gave them 10 years of his career. Dallas is one of, if not the best musicians I've ever had the pleasure of listening to and seeing.

I just started the discography and right off the bat, their self titled, first album is mind blowing. I definitely understand why they're among the top 10 most influential post hardcore bands of all time

So happy to have them back, even if it is only part-time!!

THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING THIS. This band got me through everything. Its why I have their tattoo. The final two shows ever - I was there - and it brought me to tears. They were the first band I ever saw live, and it was only fitting that I go see their final 2. Get goosebumps watching this. Poor George :(

god damn.. nothing will ever come even close to how much i love alexisonfire. They were my favourite since primary school, now im 22. no other band has ever had such an impact on me.. fuck there gonna be so badly missed. Thankyou for everything boys!

The São Paulo show was the best concert I've ever been to. The energy was something hard to describe. Both the band and the crowd were feeling it. So glad I was able to witness it, and really glad to see that the band felt the same way about it. Going to see Dallas for the second time here with City & Colour in the same venue as the Alexis show. Should be awesome...

The band got got me into this kind if music my heart sank when I heard the news

Who are you to criticize what a person does with their life/career. City and Colour is fantastic.

Ive had the oppourtunity to stop and talk to all of the guys except for Wade, they're all very nice guys who are very passionate about their music, some more so than others. George, Jordan, and Steele were super awesome when i got to meet them them, and it breaks my heart to see the emotion the put into that last tour they did.

Damn poor George and the rest of the band.. The world still needs this band =(

I love Chris. I played frisbee with him once. Such a solid guy.

Wearing the shirt I got at their final show in Hamilton. We traveled 3 hours by GO train to see that show, I wish I would of been able to see more of their shows, but I was like 13 when they had some shows in my area. Great band, even better live. Chris Steele got me into playing bass.

George said in the vid "Was the breakup amicable? No. Was it necessary?Yes.".. So I guess we will never know for sure if the band broke up on good terms or not. Most bands are vague about the reasons but usually theres some initial anger when someone leaves a band. They did the farewell tour though, which proves they are copacetic now..And they have a huge loyalty to their fans which is a rare thing. I just wish they would of played 1 show in the states.

My god and they mentioned the adelaide show.. i flew from perth to see it. my first ever concert. met them before the show. made my fucking life.

He's actually a paramedic, my buddy works with him!

alexisonfire played a ball diamond I used to play baseball on when I was a kid.It's unfortunate they had to go through so much on the way.

George is becoming (or has become) a firefighter in the GTA!

Chris looks like an absolutelly different guy. Wow!

Thank u!!! It really played out like Dallas was saying fuck you to his family and disappointing everyone. But goddamn his musical talent..it's unmatched. He was the heart of the band and he ripped himself out of it.

he pushed himself and the band to a whole new level by leaving and coming back. He grew as a musician and a vocalist. Its rubbing off on the new record

dallas green atleast acknowledged that nothing he will do will ever surpass alexisonfire....

I had a little tear in my eye through this whole video. It's really sad to see George talking throughout this though. He just seems saddened way more than everyone else about this all. The other guys were obviously upset, but it didn't quite seem like they were equal to how George seemed to feel... It could just be me, but that's just how it felt.

dude.. if you guys need vocals... im ready to bring back Alexisonfire..

Definitely Drums vocals and bass are there, just need some neat guitar work, I think they could create something new and it would sound great.
