    He's one of the most underrated pianists of all time. His recordings of Tombeau de Couperin and Petrushka are definitive. A true giant with real personality in his playing.

    I´m a cellist but his technique inspired me to develop the elasticity, flexibility and relaxation of my hands. And he also inspired me to create music in every piece I play. Thak you Maestro!

    I agree. I think he could have taken a little bit more time with it, but spectacular, no doubt. BTW, loved the camera direction. Plenty of chances to see the hand position.

    This is my favourite Rach 3! An approach that is more analytical than most.

    Never heard this guy's version before and although I prefer the ossia cadenza the sheer musicianship, technical style and power are awesome. Different aspects of the music are brought out and it's not just a "see what a good technician I am" exercise. The ensemble between soloist, orchestra and conductor is - in the most complimentary sense - chamber-music like! These guys are 'listening' to each other!

    è un brano cosi maledettamente difficile che per essere eseguito come questo gigante l'ha eseguito devi diventare tu stesso il brano altrimenti non ce n'è per nessuno.

    Weissenberg : un son dur et un jeu sans concession, mais une vision panoramique des oeuvres... Pas souvent joli, mais toujours profond...
