Iggys always been my favorite fighter ever since i first saw him in K1 WGP 2001. His kneestrikes are unmatched I would say. Will be fun seeing him in action again! =D

I have just been introduced now to this ignashov guy and k1 in general also. This guy is really interesting because I think he has the same psychological barriers with his sport that I have in chess. Never saw someone I could relate to that way before. Its unusual.

The Japanese didn't really like Alexey Ignashov in the beginning, he had a pretty nonchalant attitude, but he has always been a very good fighter. I believe he's earned respect over the years.

Alexey Ignashov is now ready to figth after 2.5 years of manager problems, he will make his first appearance very shortly in the k-1 circuit this year, somewhere in europe first. All iggy fans should be very happy now

I like the Ignashov of old. The last fight of his that I saw was him vs. Bonjasky. Now, I respected BOTH of these fighters when they were good, but that particular fight was like they were both on horse tranqs. Too much respect shown. Bring back the Ignashov of old!

yes your right,too much drinking thats why he moved to new zealand.his trainnning has been lacking here,he has put on weight & unfit.he lost to GREGORY "THE GENTLEMAN" TONY from france @ the KO world series oceania lastnite in New Zealand.

In the past Alexei knocked out both of them. in 2004 semi was knocked out in 1st round. And Alexei had later fights with them and lost by decision. Alexei is completely out of shape since 2005 or so
