Seeing the GOE difference on here really puts into perspective how real the Eteri Bonus is, and don't get me wrong, if sasha gets an attention mark on her flip then Anna should get an attention mark OR an edge call on every single Lutz that she does

i hope sasha wins she deserve it after all the underscoring she had this season

This video makes it clear that the huge tech gap is artificial really. Trusova could beat Anna with fair judging.

@@kenanquitco that's actually the most notorious. Out of 1 foot steps and up to the axel with great flow for trusova, that should beat any other 2A out in Russia. Also her 3F and 3Lz, Anna hammers into them, it makes no sense for her to have the better GOE.

@@davidfaz2435 It's not all about the jumps. Anna has better spins, step sequence, transitions, and much more difficult entries into and out of jumps. In fact, the double axel is where it is most notorious; Anna's entry Into it is also difficult, and have you seen how she ends the 2A?? She steps out of it and lifts and extends her left leg. That is why she gets higher GOE's.

Hmm if u look at Sasha’s first 2A, it deserves to get a similar score as Anna’s. Doesnt matter who jump it better, sasha’s 2A fulfill all the criteria that Anna’s 2 A fulfill in the GOE bullet

Talking just technique wise, anna’s quad “lutz” is the worst I’ve ever seen... flat edge, full blade assistance, insane pre rotation... and then you look at the GOE, insane

Anna's double axel is also superb; her entry Into it is difficult, and have you seen how she ends the 2A?? She steps out of it and lefts and extends her left leg. That is why she gets higher GOE's. And I also hope that everyone involved in these Worlds will return home safely.

I love that sasha keeps pushing herself to correct her technique. Anna is overscored but she seems very sweet and self aware of her shortcoming eventho the score doesn't always reflect her mistakes

@@hannibaljustincase9985 in terms of Lutz edge and toe pick assitanse (at least on her triples, but she also tries to make a toe pick on her quad Lutz), whereas Anna always has flat edges and full blade assist

@@Alina-phoenix If you compare their 3F-Eu-3S the way they use the toe pick is very similar. Anna's blade is closer to ice because of her donkey kick(same issue had Mao) but she's not using full blade, as it'd make it nearly impossible to vault yourself in the air. they both have excessive prerotation on their jumps, both overuse their upper body. Anna has issues with Lutz edge, Sasha with flip edge. Don't get me wrong, I do personally think Sasha is far better jumper(her 4T especially progressed under Plushenko), I was just wondering if I'd hear any factual, reasonable critiques towards Anna's jump.

Аня первая фигуристка в истории которая приземлилачетверной лутц среди взрослых и два четверных лутца. Она Чемпионка мира и рекордсменка. Она чувствует музыку лучше всех в мире, и при этом прыгает квады. Такой фигуристки ещё не было.

Anna is the more beautiful skater but seeing her makes me sad. Sasha has been trying to minimize pre-rotation this season, while Anna continues to pre-rotate 180 degrees or more on every single jump. If the judging is fair and Sasha lands most of her quads, she should win.

Here are my predictions for ladies worlds. 1st is either Trusova or Kihira and third will be Sherbakova -as she does not do as well in international competition, then at russian nats. I think it will be a battle for 4th,against Elizaveta Tuktamysheva and Kaori Sakamoto. Personally i want Tukatmysheva to win, as she has already had an amazing season. Although it is all still to play for, as any of them might not skate clean, etc

@ Nikita Shaitan: Both Sasha and Rika have improved and added jumps this season. Anna's performance is flat year over year. Rika has not had an international skate with her 4S, neither had Sasha with the new programs under Plushenko. Scores from 2019 are irrelevant. By the way, Sasha holds the world record for FS from Japan open last season...

Based on the merits of jumping technique alone, Sasha wins hands down. However sometimes she lands her jumps with stiff legs and a bit forward posture wise. Anna while her takeoff technique might be the worst out there she usually lands her jumps with good running edge. But still you have side by side both land their jump equally good, Sasha should be given more GOE just by the merits of her better technique.

yeah Anna's extension and flow in the landing is super satisfying. I'm torn every time she jumps because I hate the takeoff, the crooked-leg hammertoe entrance with no intention whatsoever of staying on the pick.. Every time she starts to jump I'm like "barf" but .3 seconds later when she lands I'm like "bravissima! fantastico, amazing!!" A wild ride of emotions.

Почему Саше так сильно занижают ?

Shcherbakova is more elegant and has better spins, but in jumps and ss sasha is better, Anna is very slow. I want Sasha to win.

Both Sasha and Anna have severe pre-rotation on both Lutz and Flip, Sasha's Flip is attention, and Anna's Lutz and Flip are full blade. I don't know if the current rules have clear scoring guidelines for pre-rotation and full blade at takeoff. However, both are still poor takeoffs, so it's very interesting to see how ISU judges make GOE decisions in the World Championships.

dont expect too much, they wont look too detailed at the take off technique for sure esp for the russian girls (even more bonus goes if you're from team tutberidze), they don't even care about edge call either these days, been going on for years, the judges can't even bother to tell the difference between a flip and lutz.

что-то тут нечисто) сашу явно недооценивают, эти разницы в GOE мизерные, которые и приносили ане победы, хотя многие прыжки у саши выполнены чище)

@@user-li6yf6wh4g у Ани хорошо проставлены дорожки, которые и макскируеют её довольно среднее катание. Поставь рядом с ней катиться Косторную или Акатьеву сразу будет видно кто владеет коньком и умеет скользит. Это не камень в сторону Ани, просто констатация факта. У Саши с катанием тоже далеко не супер, но за сезон она сильно прибавила. Желаю того же Аня. Девчонки, только вперёд!

This helps solidify the over scoring for the Tutbarize team. Trusova had some very great jumps, yet her goe were never higher than 2. Whereas Anna's were always high. Very saddened that some teams have to resort to this.

sasha was so underscored during the russian nationals, this was ridiculous. also anna got first thanks to the tutberidze bonus... objectively speaking, alexandra had to be first.

Sasha has no feeling for the music. It’s very robotic. Anna lives her program. Both are excellent but I want Anna to come away victorious

Sasha's feeling for the music is different than Anna's, but that doesn't mean it isn't there. Sasha feeds off of powerful, intense music, but can't do that when there isn't intensity in the music. Watch Kill Bill, The Fifth Elemet, Four Seasons, or even Big Spender.
