@@studiosx8561 look further than just the references. The song was written about a failing relationship, with some sex sprinkled in. If you actually paid attention to the lyrics, you can figure that out in the first line. It literally says that even something that pleased the lord himself wouldn't be good enough for the person it's about. Open your eyes man, not everything is two-dimensional. Everything religious in this is to draw comparisons to love, betrayal, and how a sexual experience with the right person can feel like a religious one. The person that wrote the song wasn't even christian, so why would it be about christianity. Do a bit of research before you just assume stuff next time? :)
