The competition continued to get better whereas he decreased. You can't diminish Conor's greatness, he was a one of a kind in terms of his career.

Never doubted this man. Ever since I sat at the work site with him watching his first ever fight on his phone. It was clear he was gonna be champ from the frost moment he stepped in the ring. Just so all u guys know. He grew up in a rough area, full of people who could have easily led him astray, but this man always had laser focus. While others were out partying and getting fucked up. He was straight as a whistle and still able to go out and enjoy himself. He deserves everything he has in life.

thats what seperates high level athletes from the rest of us. most people will use excuses and say it is genetics but really they just have a crazy drive to prove everyone wrong and get to the top.. crazy level of focus. obviously some physical factors but their determination is the deciding factor.

This guy really really impressed me with his leg kicks vs Holloway. I started paying attention to him then even though I remember him from the Chad Mendes fight a couple years earlier. He's a perpetual underdog and he seems to be comfortable in the role. Good fighter with heart and grit.
