In the book of Daniel, the prophet Daniel sees the following in a dream: I saw that suddenly a ram was standing near the stream, which had two horns and long branches, and one of them was taller than the other and the tallest of them came up last; And I saw the ram blowing its horns towards the west, north and south, and no wild animal could resist him, and there was no one to free him from his hand, and he acted according to his will, and he became great. In the Hebrew text, the word "קרנים" (Qarnim) is used to mean "two horns". Next, we read in the book of Daniel: Gabriel appeared to him and interpreted his dream as follows: the ram with two horns that you saw is the kings of the Medes and the Persians.(Cyrus the great) And it is said in the Quran that he opened the country from east to west, while Alexander came from west to east.

It was the Greeks rebellion nature and sense of superiority that initiated the invasion of Greece by the hands of Achaemenids. Even then many Greeks were against the rebellion, it happened anyways. Lastly the big difference between Cyrus and Alexander is he is titled as a prophet, king of kings, Father of Eranshahr and etc. Alexander’s titles were given to him mainly because of military achievements. Morally Cyrus had a greater positive impact than Alexander.

@Mujahid Thank you for your opinion, dear friend. According to my research in the history of Islam and the world, Dhul-Qarnain is mentioned in several books as a pure, kind and pious person. But during all these years, I realized that it is impossible to say which king is Zul-Qarnain, many consider him Dzul-Qarnain because of the generosity and forgiveness of Cyrus, especially the Jews and the Torah. In many places, the Torah mentions Cyrus the Great, as Cyrus, Messiah and other titles. And the interesting thing here is that if we translate the title of Cyrus in the Torah into Arabic, the phrase Dhul-Qarnain appears. Anyway, we don't even consider Cyrus to be Dhul-Qarnain, because it is not known at all. I saw many Shia and Sunni scholars who believe that Zul-Qarnain was not one of them, but must be someone else because these two dear kings have forcibly committed murders and wars that are not the same as the definitions of Zul-Qarnain.Secondly, many historians do not adhere to religion at all and consider it superstition, as a result, I came to the conclusion that in glorifying the king, I should go for its religious titles less. It was the Greeks rebellion nature and sense of superiority that initiated the invasion of Greece by the hands of Achaemenids. Even then many Greeks were against the rebellion, it happened anyways. Lastly the big difference between Cyrus and Alexander is he is titled as a prophet, king of kings, Father of Eranshahr and etc. Alexander’s titles were given to him mainly because of military achievements. Morally Cyrus had a greater positive impact than Alexander.

@Mujahid Thank you for your opinion, dear friend. According to my research in the history of Islam and the world, Dhul-Qarnain is mentioned in several books as a pure, kind and pious person. But during all these years, I realized that it is impossible to say which king is Zul-Qarnain, many consider him Dzul-Qarnain because of the generosity and forgiveness of Cyrus, especially the Jews and the Torah. In many places, the Torah mentions Cyrus the Great, as Cyrus, Messiah and other titles. And the interesting thing here is that if we translate the title of Cyrus in the Torah into Arabic, the phrase Dhul-Qarnain appears. Anyway, we don't even consider Cyrus to be Dhul-Qarnain, because it is not known at all. I saw many Shia and Sunni scholars who believe that Zul-Qarnain was not one of them, but must be someone else because these two dear kings have forcibly committed murders and wars that are not the same as the definitions of Zul-Qarnain.Secondly, many historians do not adhere to religion at all and consider it superstition, as a result, I came to the conclusion that in glorifying the king, I should go for its religious titles less.
