Hearsay was the best R&B Funk album of the 80s. I loved that alot of acts on Hall's show performed live.

I remember blasting this in my hooptie in high school. I never caught the whole Minneapolis connection til much later. Now I can actually see or hear the Morris Day sound in the vocals

Yep he was the original lead singer of The Time, i guess they felt Morris Day fit the role better, however he is entertaining and charismatic but his vocals can’t touch Alex’s
