@@Ahmed.4411 are you intentionally being ignorant? He’s 5’3 and 130 lbs and Francis Ngannou is 6’4 and 258 lbs and arguably the hardest hitter in UFC history. Ngannou would likely max the machine out and I bet Mighty Mouse wouldn’t get anywhere near his score. Power still equates to speed.

On these type of machines I got into the mid 800's at around 11 years old. So I don't really trust that they truly capture the power of the punch. Instead the machines that absorb the full impact are a better measure.

Each machine is calibrated differently I can make a simple push be max out. And yeah ontop of that the angle of pressure will effect these machines too

The machine has a hook on the end of punching bag and a laser sensor so it measures how long did it take for hook to pass the sensor…so the faster the hook passes, the time of sensor coverage is less and the score is bigger

they are all different in settings but they meassure basically by using a lazer device and a metal piece attached to the bag that shows the interval between lazers being picked up so its through speed.

They should be quite accurate considering they measure the velocity of the bag after being punched using a laser and an object to go in between the laser.

I don't think all these machines are calibrated the same. I've been able to get over 900 on my local one since I was 19 and 160lbs. All my friends get about 800 as well. There's no way we're punching as hard as these professionals.

Speed x strength = power. Smaller guy lacked in strength but compensated with speed. Bigger guy couldn't compensate his lack of speed with his strength. Smaller guy had overall more power.

Those typ of punching games have a mechanism that works with speed there is a spring and it counts how fast you punch so it’s not accurate look it up not making stuff up , as a boxer I know people who try this and got 750 and when they punch the real test they break it

These machines are worthless. You have to hit htem high up just under the padding (great way to break your hand if you're not careful), and you have to punch in a more upward motion because of how the thing swings and where the sensor is. Nobody punches like that in a real fight.

I can attest these machines are frustrating. There’s a certain way to hit it. I know a guy who worked in the oil fields and they had one in their bunkhouse or whatever. I am an objectively harder puncher than he is and he beat me on this thing every time. By a lot. In front of my kids no less lol. Even he said it’s because he practiced on it. He sucked at first too.

Those machines are stupid. There are some sweet spots on them. And it matters how you hit it. My ex girl worked at a bar and they all knew how to hit it to get generally higher scores than the big burly patrons who went there. Was pretty funny though when a 5 foot, 100 pound chick had a higher score than a big biker dude.

Speed equals power with punching. The ability to move the mass and contract your muscles a certain way and the bodies ability to generate force with more motion from other areas plays a huge part. Some people engage more areas , contract better, and have the speed to boot. For example, Floyd Mayweather.

All this machines are different compared to one another. I was in Mallorca ones and got 971. Then back in Sweden I got like 910. And about 850 in another town. So I think it varies alot!

The machine has a hook on the end of punching bag and a laser sensor so it measures how long did it take for hook to pass the sensor…so the faster the hook passes, the time of sensor coverage is less and the score is bigger

This is how professional fighters should act with one another.
I've only ever trained grappling and I broke the record on one of these machines at 17, so I always question their validity or how they measure power

they are all different in settings but they meassure basically by using a lazer device and a metal piece attached to the bag that shows the interval between lazers being picked up so its through speed.

They should be quite accurate considering they measure the velocity of the bag after being punched using a laser and an object to go in between the laser.

Yes I think they’re just all different tbh. I hit a 922 from a stationary punch like Gustafson just threw. I’m a big guy but I can’t see how I’d have a harder punch than a pro fighter

I don’t care what anybody says, Alex won the first fight against Jon Jones. He didn’t by the judges scorecards but he did and he beat Jon up pretty bad.

Dc is the only person that did a run up. Dc knows more tricks that don't require a towel aswell.
It's the angle he's punching from!! He needs to stand closer and more to the left so he can get more of his hips into it.
Those machines don't measure the force of the hit, just how fast the arm passes a laser. It's about the angle👍
Alex is a cardio god at 205 if DC or Jones didn't exist he would be the goat.

I don't think all these machines are calibrated the same. I've been able to get over 900 on my local one since I was 19 and 160lbs. All my friends get about 800 as well. There's no way we're punching as hard as these professionals.

I believe besides the pro ones, they're calibrated for speed not force. Because im also 160 and the last time i did it i hit just under 900

the machine isnt about power its about angles and how you hit it a 300 pound bouncer once hit it and a 180 guy came along and hit a higher score then him no way in any world does that make sense

It's called velocity, not power nor weight. There's lightweight boxers punching as hard as heavyweights due to speed differences

Speed x strength = power. Smaller guy lacked in strength but compensated with speed. Bigger guy couldn't compensate his lack of speed with his strength. Smaller guy had overall more power.
DC should say that to Jones…… wait he did and got his ass whooped twice 😂

Roids change the playing field. A lot.
Those typ of punching games have a mechanism that works with speed there is a spring and it counts how fast you punch so it’s not accurate look it up not making stuff up , as a boxer I know people who try this and got 750 and when they punch the real test they break it
I find it awkward hitting those things

Those machines don't measure force they measure speed so says nothing about the power of the punch
The highest score I've ever seen on one of these was a guy that was 5'4 and weighed 130 at the most.

These machines are worthless. You have to hit htem high up just under the padding (great way to break your hand if you're not careful), and you have to punch in a more upward motion because of how the thing swings and where the sensor is. Nobody punches like that in a real fight.

This machine is as much about technique as power. He can probably hit much harder than max points

@@oliverhart7013 no, because you could hit the machine servers ways. Ortega probably knew this technique and hit the bag on the lowest point as hard as he could with a snap. These guys hit it near the top or middle.

I saw a teenager put up over 1,000 on one of these machines. If you killed one at a carnival, don't think it's the calibration of the machine, just keep thinking you're a superman. Lol
I’m 155 lbs and I get 1000 on these things.

I can attest these machines are frustrating. There’s a certain way to hit it. I know a guy who worked in the oil fields and they had one in their bunkhouse or whatever. I am an objectively harder puncher than he is and he beat me on this thing every time. By a lot. In front of my kids no less lol. Even he said it’s because he practiced on it. He sucked at first too.

I got drunk and fell into one of those punching machines in my head hit it and I scored an 858... And I have punched them with my hardest and I'm not a small guy and I hit around and 880-915. He should be banging 1000. I guess it all depends on what bar you're in when you hit them

Those machines are stupid. There are some sweet spots on them. And it matters how you hit it. My ex girl worked at a bar and they all knew how to hit it to get generally higher scores than the big burly patrons who went there. Was pretty funny though when a 5 foot, 100 pound chick had a higher score than a big biker dude.
Back in 2010 there was a huge crowd of people around the punching machine inside the bowling alley , I'm 5'9 and I was 150 pounds soaked and wet , gave it a try and scored 998 , couldn't believe my eyes , I couldn't ever reach that number again

Speed equals power with punching. The ability to move the mass and contract your muscles a certain way and the bodies ability to generate force with more motion from other areas plays a huge part. Some people engage more areas , contract better, and have the speed to boot. For example, Floyd Mayweather.

All this machines are different compared to one another. I was in Mallorca ones and got 971. Then back in Sweden I got like 910. And about 850 in another town. So I think it varies alot!
