I don’t think that it’s being slept on, it’s that this was what was announced for the ultimate fighter. No heat between these guys and Volk has a kinda boring personality even though he’s a great fighter. This fight could have happened much sooner too and not kept the division on hold.

Volk scored a 10-8 on this interview just based on microphone quality alone.

As an Aussie, yep, 1-1. But the reality is him and max have proven to be in a different atmosphere to everyone else in the division. Let's see if Ortega can skillup. The reality is Ortega has never proved to have the conditioning and composure of a champion, and Korean Zombie is not a champion level fighter. If Ortega doesn't come in freakishly well conditioned, and doesn't catch Volk with an early sub. He is going to get cooked by volks pace

I had heard of Brian before watching the UFC regularly. It’s nice seeing Alex showing some personality/emotions. I feel like a lot of people think Max is still the champion of the division because Alex acted like the challenger before this fight. One thing about Alex is that he knows how to win on the score cards and he’s right that he needs a finish to cement himself on the top. Brian is a hard guy to finish but the power Alex has is impressive but I hope Brian pulls this one off because that rematch of Max Vs Brian would be incredible🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
