I loved the guy but over the years I've heard he was a bit tough to deal with in a work environment. Maybe he was just a perfectionist. I'd understand if so. He had a rough road the last year or so. Cancer is a real mfer.

Drinking on the JOB is a no-no today! The point is, 'Times have changed'! Alex isn't vying for a job as a host... would a Woman come out about a past indiscretion today, unlike in yester years if he were vying for a job... He Drank (and has admitted that in other interviews)... I'm sure something probably happened in the background, but is kept secret, as there is no point. I'm not diminishing the guy, as I watch Jeopardy today and in yester years. KZread has cleansed their platform over the last couple of years... a lot of videos have been deleted others kept. I swear I watched other videos way back in the day which showed him intoxicated. I'm not arguing with you! My point is if Alex was vying to host another show and he were younger and not still established as Jeopardy host, would this video be used against him getting another gig? Howard Stern was Vulgar, etc. as a Shock-Jock, yet was granted a job on 'America's Got Talent'... is there a double-standard (as he is Jewish)?

I personally do not drink at work, but it very much so still happens. In Hollywood? It is extremely common to have a liquid lunch......... Jewish? Jews are not a race. It’s a religion and there is not very much Antisemitism in the US. Until you said it I never even thought of Stern as Jewish. I am pretty sure he is Atheist

Came here because I heard that he had passed . When I used to watch antenna tv, this man was embedded in my head 🙏🏼 you will be missed and remembered .

He referred to it in an interview in 2014, saying that he knew it was on KZread with the "Watch Trebek Drunk" caption. He explained that he wasn't drunk, he was just in a bad mood from being tired because he was having to record promos after just finishing two full days of taping.
