He can't remember hardly anything related to the murders but he CAN remember the number of pills and the strength of the pills that he took 2 years ago. He is FULL OF BS!!!

I agree. He was using, but he was also either selling those drugs or trafficking them. This isn’t the first time someone in his family did something like this.
Moselle had a plane landing strip. I think he was heavily into drug dealing. The man was very heavily functioning in a high powered law office. Family friends and law partners had no idea he was taking pills. He is lying. Maggie was getting ready to divorce him. He was soon ready to lose his law license for financial crimes. Murdaugh name would be mud. Just that morning his law firm confronted him with his stealing. In a divorce they deeply investigated your finances. He did not want that. Maggie ONLY owned Moselle but in death he inherited it. There is your motive . Paul had to go because again he wanted to stop the lawsuits in boat accident and was not going to pay out millions in settlement

Lol, i seriously doubt he would be dealing pills. He had other ways to get money that was way less risky. All it would take is ONE person getting busted with pills they bought from him and he'd have been rolled over. If he had been taking them for that many years, plus was a big hefty dude, he probably had to take a crap ton just to feel "normal". I give it a zero percent chance he was "dealing". Whatever people's theories are on his motives, it's all just comjecture at the end of the day. Theories amd guesses are not evidence. If you were a juror, you would have to admit that there is reasonable doubt in this case that he committed murder. What if someone else he pissed off committed the murders? What if he pissed off someone he owef money to for the pills? Not Guilty all day long ya'll. Legally speaking, that is. Just not nearly enough evidence.

I think he’s guilty asf. But you can tell he knows how to answer these questions and play the game. Kind of a reflection on how broken the judicial system is in how it can be manipulated if you have a background or enough money for a good lawyer.

I know he is lying about the number of pills he took and how much Money he spent on oxycodone! He was very heavy at one point , could see how big he got. At that time he could take more then. I have chronic pain from failed back surgery and other diagnoses. At one time I was on a strong main opiate and oxycodone for breakthru pain . I didn’t abuse mine because I would not get them if I did. But I know people that are addicted to oxycodone and I have never heard of taking 60 pills! @@susanhawkins7435 : something is not right, that’s for sure. I’ve known people to take 60 pills in a day, but most opiate addicts don’t take them orally as prescribed. @@susanhawkins7435 Nah, i'd bet it's totally true what he's saying. He didnt say they were always 30mg. And im sure a big man like him with a huge opiate tolerance could have worked himself up over time into taking way WAY more than 10 of those 30mg pills. So.lets do the math: now, Im not sure what doses they make OxyContin in, but if they make 5mg pills, he'd have to take SIX of those just to equal one 30. If he was taking 10 of those a day, but only had 5mg pills at that time (he was obv securing random peoples unused perscriptions and buying from other random sources), theres your "60 or more pills a day". Boy, i guess a lot if people know very little about the nature of opiode addiction... which is fine. Youre lucky if you yourself or someone close to you have never struggled with opiate addiction. Its not like ANY other addiction. Many people who are addicted to them have to take a large amount every day, just to feel normal... no effect on judgement or character, no sloppiness, etc... im talking about the effects of the drug. @@rollbamaroll6518 That's incorrect. Drugs can completely change your brains chemical makeup. I drank a half gallon of vodka per day, and I never threw it up or exuded it from my body in any way (other than sweat of course). Most people can't imagine drinking a half gallon a day, it was like water to me. I've been sober for several years now, but there were plenty of people I met in treatment. One guy was taking THIRTY Ritalin a day, I believe some days he'd go up to 50. Just like with any toxin if you slowly introduce it to the human body over time you can build up some pretty incredible tolerances. he already threw his old Eddie under the bus for this too. The guy that allegedly sold him drugs for 50k bucks a week was old cousin Eddie, he said. The same poor guy whom Alex called and asked to put a bullet in his brain. Again: HE says. So this big drug dealer gangster cousin of his, out of pure friendlyness allegedly said hey Bro Alex, don't worry. I'm a little sad you won't buy drugs for millions a year from me anymore, but since I got time, why not. I'll do it for free as a favor, since we're old buddies and I made so much money on you. You bring the weapon, nothing complicated. But then the big gangster cousin "missed" his head. Small head, long day, just the typical problems of a hit, you know how it goes. And they find Eddie in his small dirty garage home and a bunch of checks from Alex, starting in 2020.

@@alltrouble1957 I enjoyed your description of Eddies day. - I read the idea that Eddie was supposed to be shot down in self defense and he would be handy to be blamed for the murders of Paul and Maggie as well.
