AM took the life of his wife, Maggie, and son Paul, and destroy the life of Booster as the way it was before his mom and brother way killed by his father. I believe this man is pained by the loss of his nephew and SIL. But he is woefully ignorant of how he sounds when he describes his family and just a regular family. They tried to paint themselves as that in their interview on tv. They’re not a regular family. They’ve very privileged with both wealth and community “support”. They’re very land rich with multiple homes to go to that are fully stocked with anything they may need. They’ve been largely untouchable in regards to being able to get away with doing what they want.
@tmusa2002

How do you think he should have explained his family? When you’re wealthy, that’s all you’ve known, and you work hard to maintain that, they don’t think of money/wealth when asked to describe their family and the relationships. They seemed to have unusually good relationships and had the world by the tail for sure. I think they are classy enough not to talk about their money in that way.

It's clear that they have what we old-timers call "good breeding" ...it's unfortunate that you can find bad actors in the best of families...they clearly benefitted and enjoyed the wealth and privilege they were born into but it's also clear that they have worked hard to maintain and grow that prosperity
Thus poor man's tears and deep grief are heartbreaking. When he said that he had to clean everything up for his traumatically lost and loved nephew, Paul, it hit home. I have not had anything like this happen in my family, Thank God. However, the last gift I gave to my Mama on this Earth, was to fix her make-up for her funeral. Miss Cindy, I realize that my comment to you is the complete opposite of this Double Murder Trial, but here goes: In October of 1963 my mother’s younger brother Tommy who lived 3 blocks from my mother, father and my 3 older siblings. My mother was pregnant with me and I was born 3 months later in January of 1964. Anyway, Tommy had made sure that his daughter, who was in elementary school, left to go to school, then Tommy taped a note warning whoever read it, to not allow his little daughter come inside after school let out, then Tommy locked every lock in his house, called one of his other sisters, Beverly, and while the two were talking, my aunt heard a loud noise and asked her brother Tommy if he heard the noise also. Tommy told her that he did hear the loud noise, and as calmly as ever, he told her that he had shot himself with his rifle. My aunt while completely hysterical, told Tommy that she was going to call for help and then call him right back, but Tommy begged her to not hang up the phone because he was dying and just wanted her to pray for and with him before died. In the meantime, with my mother, one of Tommy’s other sisters living 3 blocks away, did not know what had happened with Tommy. My father’s supervisor had to track my father’s delivery route and inform him that the police needed him at his brother-in-laws house because they needed a family member to identify Tommy’s body there at his(Tommy’s) house. After that was done, my father went home and my mother was surprised that he was home so early from work. My father walked up to my mother and wrapped her in a hug and told her “Tommy’s gone”. My mother told my father that Tommy was at work but after work he would back home. Knowing that my mother was not understanding what had happened with Tommy, my father, as gently as he could while still hugging her told her “Tommy is dead, he shot himself”.

Exactly. Watch the Netflix show about the boat crash and then listen to his testimony about the murders. Seems like he's involved, in my opinion,

The Murdaughs are so good at manipulation. It's a family trait. And judging by these comments you all are lapping it up.
He decided to kill his wife and son while his dad was in the hospital fighting for his life & his mom suffering from severe dementia wow!!
Thanks!
Listening to these testimonies really help me to further understand the saying…the dead does no wrong.

With the money and status they have you really think they going to clean up a crime scene if they werent trying to cover up. These people are rich they usually have people doing things for them.. so my answer to maid cleaning it I would say of course she would be cleaning but she died too under suspicious causes on their property.

Even if a lot of times a person is genuine, by the time they run through a testimony it then becomes "rehearsed". Although I am sure he did love his family, other than on cross, his testimony did feel/sound rehearsed. Either he really thinks, and or wants to believe his brother is really innocent, or he is putting on a front to save what little dignity his family has left.
Keep saying this, but him and his brother sound EXACTLY THE SAME! And how his brother Marvin keeps smiling at the weirdest times I've noticed is super creepy to me especially in this one

Thank you Law & Crime for your amazing coverage of The Murdaugh Murders Trial, GiGi did a great job keeping us posted. John Martin was such a good witness for Alex & I believed every word he said. He has an awesome reputation & no one can say anything negative about he or Randy. Actually, the siblings & extended family should be applauded for doing the right thing showing support & standing by Alex during his trial. Also, the Family & extended family, Maggie's Sister showed love & concern foe Buster more then any anger she may feel which is commendable. Hopefully they will be able to grieve their losses & find peace. May beautiful Maggie & Paul rest in peace! 🙏
Why did John Marvin try to clean up the boat after the boat crash...and why did he start cleaning up the murder site as he testified to doing? I think he knows more than he is saying.
