People seem forget its a big game .. hate them because they are rivals but when its all said and done you both understand why .look at sal and wenger and mourinho etc etc all hated each other but respect each other too

People seemed to be more classy back then.. even though it was fairly recent.

That's probably not true. Ferguson was a ferocious competitor but could be gracious in defeat. He immediately congratulated Blackburn when they pipped united to the title in 95 and sent his old rival dalglish a bottle of champagne.
