I now understand why his backed Logan so much. Their stories are so similar, both didn’t get any testing in previous generations of F1 cars. They just got thrown to the deep end.

I agree with your point but I also think Albon is that supportive because he absolutely smashed Logan (I’m a Logan fan but let’s be real). The longer Logan is on the team the better Albon looks. It’s honestly the perfect partnership for Logan to have an experienced driver next to him that doesn’t feel threatened and is willing to be somewhat of an ally. Hopefully they can both make big gains this year 🫡

@@TheRealestRealtorsNClargely agree w both u guys, but to add a little, alex is one of the strongest drivers out there, hed been pitted against max and got slam dunked but his race pace and skill was better than daniel kvyat and gasly, also the guy was out of a drive despite being that talented,so it only makes sense alex anhilated logan in stats, I’ll be absolutely stoked if logan halves his stats next season against alex, that itself means he belongs to the grid on merit.look at oscar,he’s almost close to lando out the box and outdid him twice this season.not saying lando being more vulnerable to oscar or oscar being far too talented, but to put into context how different lando wouldve been viewed had mclaren got alex instead of dany ricc.

Your all right but also a little wrong, listen to the way he speaks about/too people. Have any of you hear him say anything bad about anyone. He supports Logan because he knows how difficult this sport is and wants him to do well. He was ousted himself and with his personality he’s never gonna want that for Logan. I don’t think the fact that he’s(Logan) is slower has anything to do with his support.

I actually met Alex Albon at a Bang and Olufsen event in Dubai. My claim to fame was beating his time on the simulator they had set up (I was top of the leaderboard at the time), though to be fair he'd only had two laps on it, after only just walking in, and it wasn't a sim he'd played before. In any case, he was a stand up dude. Polite, friendly, plus open to some banter and jokes too. I genuinely wish him all the success going forward, and feel that had he had more time and confidence in an F1 car prior to his Red Bull stint, he'd have gone much, much further.

the second RB team is basically just there to find the next big talent. At the beginning of a driver's career, Helmut Marko and co. want to look just at the raw talent of a young driver. The world champion drivers have all one thing in common, and that would be being fast the second you put him into the car. Not particular faster than everyone else but just instantly there and the talent is showing. Michael Schumacher was insane, Kimi, Hamilton Vettel etc. all were really good rookies. While there are drivers who just don't care about anything and are insanely fast (Kimi) others like Nico Rosberg have high doubts - but for those it is important for Marko and co. that the young drivers will manage these doubts within a couple of races. It is harsh but there is no point for RB to keep young guys that can race a car but show no special talent. RB pays a high price for their second team to have exactly that luxury.

I hundred percent agree with you but in reality it wouldn't be good for Alex as that seat is earmarked for Kimi Antoneli. Alex needs to be up front and he deserves a long stable contract so maybe in Aston Martin. McLaren drivers have long contracts, Merc has only 1 year contract to offer so maybe Alonso could take that and in doing so Alex could be offered his seat.
