They are nuts live. Ive seen them twice amd they destroy their equipment. Gear is all crackling and shit by the end 😂 they are local where im at and my bud down here in annapolis md is friends with them. Super cool people to drink with!

As you said, A Place Where The Sun Is Silent is a PREQUEL to the Emptiness. Meaning the story takes place before the Emptiness. Confessions is the continuation.

This album should have solidified Alesana as one of the best bands in the scene and skyrocketed their popularity. Instead, I think there are literally people still learning of its existence in 2023. This album is the complete product, a culmination of everything the band learned to do and not to do. It's The Emptiness on steroids. Shawn just pulled the trigger on Revival Records and releasing this album through it a little too early.

These guys never disappoint and are so amazing live. Forever my favorite band

I'm so sad I just now found out about this album. I bought the Emptiness and APWTSIS right when they came out and they have been some of my favorites. Also some commented about how they thought APWTSIS was a prequel to Emptiness or vice versa. I personally always thought APWTSIS was after Emptiness and The Artist and was his experience of hell, as it was something like their version of Dante's Inferno. I think the band themselves said it was similar to Dante's Inferno. I may be wrong though.

Ahh, So I was half correct and made assumptions thanks. I've never seen the Shaun Qoute, and how I interpreted the APWTSIS it seemed like he was experiencing his version of 'Hell" after The Emptiness.

I don't really understand why, but... the melody after "remember I am yours" reminds me of Interstellar. Random.

Annabel. Based on the lyrics, I can say that the Artist is still alive but dying in this song, that's why there are some parts where it seems it's his point of view.

But no, I don't think they're travelling together, I'm pretty sure the story is gonna be Annabel travelling to the past to get back the Artist and stop him from going insane, and based on the album lyrics, he seems to die in the second song of the album, The Acolyte.

Was quite disappointed with this album, this song is amazing but most of the rest of the album is a little dull compared to the rest of their stuff previously

I think they tried too hard on this album. :/ is good but it's not their best.
