In 1996 I had gone to the super market got out it was dark a lady drove up to me said I see you have alot of Geoceries can I give you a ride home & she did. I was at a gas station on a Sunday and saw a guy standing on the side outside, he had a grocery bag with what looked like clothes in it. I drove up and asked if he needed some money for breakfast, he looked shocked and said no. I asked if he was sure and he said yes. Later I laughed thinking he was probably just some guy out for a walk on Sunday morning and stopped for a coffee and I thought he might be homeless or something 😂. You gotta try right? Better to be wrong and embarrassed than not offer.

Wonderful story.

I'm currently fighting recurrent cancer. I was told by my oncologist that I had to stop the chemo because it was killing me. Before, I was told that I literally felt like I was dying. And was on the fence on whether or not I wanted to continue with treatment. I was praying, I was looking at bible verses. The reason I was so afraid, I know how this sounds, so bare with me. It wasn't because I have a young child. I was afraid if I stopped, it would be a form of suicide. I believe that you go to hell if you do that. I was severely struggling with what to do. Then, one day, randomly, my daughter and I went to Walmart, and as we were walking to the checkout, this older gentleman walked beside me. He was probably in his 60's. He looked at me and asked if I was going through chemo. I was stunned, he knew probably because of what I was wearing on my head as I had lost all my hair. I said yes. He looked at me and then said, "Don't give up." I instantly knew in my heart and soul that God had just answered my prayers. He had listened to me. When I thought he wasn't. This man was a veteran and began to tell me that because of the base he was stationed at, everyone who drank the water got cancer. He's been fighting cancer for four years. Every other sentence, he kept telling me not to give up. It's the most powerful thing that's ever happened to me. I wish I knew his name. To thank him. He didn't even have anything in his cart. He sent a message from God to little ol' me. God will answer your prayer in his time. When you need to hear it. I believe that with everything I am. I'm currently doing immunotherapy treatment. I'm hoping it will work. If not, I know where I'll be headed. And for that, I'm grateful 🙏
