    It seems like that resign was pretty early, it’s obviously a losing position but you’re only down a bishop and you can still play for a draw at least.

    This is a general game and can arise in any opening ,, nothing to do with specifically ruy Lopez ... And the tactic was very general ,, all 1500+ have played this kind of tactic very often ... I liked the game but title was misleading kind of as I came for something in ruy Lopez not very general !!

  • @tengu8560

    That’s not a trap bruh, that’s just a basic tactic the opponent blundered, a trap has to be at least slightly complex

    Because that runs into the Noah's Ark trap. You lose your bishop if you take the pawn with the queen

  • @stealthyshadow567

    I know I’m late to this but this is a pretty common trap in the ruy Lopez, the problem is if Queen takes before bishop d5, black plays pawn c5, which attacks the Queen, and the queen has to do a lot of dodging and maneuvering attacks but the short and sweet of it is that the bishop is trapped and the only two places it can go are both defended by the b pawn while the c pawn attacks where it is, so it has to trade with the pawn. Moving it to d3 attacks black rook on a1 and gets it out of harms way before the queen takes.

  • @yokai3k
    @yokai3k Жыл бұрын

    The probability of this trap can executed succesfully is 49.00% why? It start when pawn to b4 to attack white knight in c3 knight c3 has two choice either go to e2 or just like in the video d5 looks like very normal move but as you can see black knight takes it then queen take now every white piece is in bad position only move is queen d3 then rook take bishop g5 or bishop g5 then thats it you execute it succesfully but if knight e2 then i dont next guess your just gonna play chess only begginer will fall for the trap but still yeahh very long yet deadly trap ✌️✌️👍
