I’ve seen the high school and it’s way nicer than all the high schools combined in my area. Who wouldn’t want to go there. It’s nice when a district invest in the sports of the athletes.

I'm from Vegas. One thing I appreciate about Texas football they go North and South. They don't bounce outside not alot of "shaking" point "A" to point "B".

Aledo needs to play Duncanville, Desota, South Lake, just to make Texas football even more exciting.

smithson valley used to be 6a d1 bruh, that shit was tuff as is, playing judson, steele, all those athletic ass schools and then getting lake travis or west lake first round, moved down a divison and still play one of the tuffest hs football teams ever

Yea Smithson Valley played in San Antonio's district of doom and was still solid in 6A. They been a solid program for 2 decades and have been to State a few times. Hard when you have Judson and then Steele coming up in the 2010s.

In 3-4 years they will have to make another high school in Aledo, all them damn kids on that team.

DeSoto's current numbers makes them well below the 5A limit. How could a school that small dominant 6A like they did this year? If they had been 5A this year no team would have stayed within 30 points of them.

@@October.409 The size of the city and the size of the school district is not the same. Many small towns have districts that reach many miles beyond the city limits.

They played Denton Guyer, who had 2 five stars on their team last year, and are a solid 6A team year in, year out, and played the best private school team in Texas(which I guess isn’t saying much since our private schools aren’t all that)
