My sister was sad everytime she came back after school until I showed her part of the song I really love and I was able to make her smile after 19 months of not smiling it made me so glad and happy I started to cry thanks to this song my sister was able to smile after a long time of not smiling so thank you and at least she got to spend her final moments smiling until she pasted away 😢

That verse hit close to home as my brother had recently been murdered when I first listened to this song. Hearing him sing about his sister like that felt as though I were hearing my brothers last words to me, almost as though he had sent of piece of himself from Hades realm(I'm pagan and worship/follow Hades as my god of death, therefore I believe we get sent there after death. Please do not argue with me on this or comment how it's weird or try to shove your viewpoints down my throat,) to show me he's still with me in heart and it'll be okay eventually. Aw, so wholesome. This made me smile after crying on the last verse and being thankful for my brother. We’ve moved around last couple years and it was a tough change and we’ve really come so much closer, and we’re helping each other survive living in someplace new, adapting to the city, with crushes and friends, and helping each other out. Oh, gods....this is the first Alec Benjamin song I’ve heard that actually made me cry -not just on the inside (I’m kind of emotionally sensitive), but on the outside, too. The tears started rolling down my cheeks, but I smiled. That last verse....it just really got me, and it was like someone had hit me right in the feels.

I've never cried except for when I hurt myself, and I'm dramatic with it. *I felt terrible when my grandpa died and tears just incinerated from my existence... like I did not have the capability to cry.*

I get sad a lot, but then I just think about Alec’s songs, and hum them in my head, and it really calms me down. Flip off the beginning is the best part. All of it is the best parts!!!!!!! I hear this song every single day. I don't take it off not 1 time. I even hear it whenever I'm asleep, awake, doing chores, going to the beach, I never stopped hearing this. And I never will stop hearing this.
