I just finished this book. I loved it. My niece is the age of Phillip in the book. I love comparing in my mind the similarities of the current political climate we live in. Of course Phillip being Jewish in 1940 made it a little more to be concerned.

To think... his brother Stephen Baldwin is a devout Born Again Christian Believer I’m sure Stephen is praying for Alec & God willing, he will to accept JESUS. Right now, Alec is walking on the wide road that leads to destruction

A road that leads to destruction? Isn't that what you religious people are waiting for. You know Revalations the end of the world, where the chosen get front row seats in heaven to watch God allow Satan to torture and ass rape the sinners left on earth. I'm just sayin'.
