  • @ltzp2
    @ltzp25 жыл бұрын

    you have to take shots to make them. The rockets coach talked about when he was a player and in a shooting slump and how his coach just told him to put up 20 shots. That way, when he was taking a shot he was thinking "there will be more after" instead of thinking about how he wasn't going to get other shots if he didn't make it. Russ created good separation and we know he can make threes. The answer isn't don't take any threes, its get used to having the ball go in again. He's already such a threat driving to the basket that he draws defenders in and uses his great passing to get teammates open looks, which is also why he misses shots inside, because he's guarded aggressively which usually results in fouls. He takes tough shots with a purpose, if you watched the game you would realize that. On one end you call him a statpader for getting rebounds which is just the result of you not watching the actual games or realizing that OKC is always a top offensive rebounding team in the league, and at the other end you take the STAT of his field goal percentage and you say that it indicates how bad he is and how detrimental he is to the team. Makes assists and gets rebounds- just stat padding. Low field goal percentage in a game- stats don't lie, he's trash. Guess what, FG% is a stat, and if he wanted to pad it, he wouldn't be taking all of the hard shots like buzzer beaters or crazy and 1 attempts after the whistle. He does that because he wants a chance at points for his team, which is the same reason why he draws defenders to the paint to kick the ball out to a teammate. It's unselfish, but it really doesn't need to be explained when an obvious double standard and false narrative are driving the over-criticism in the first place. The problem isn't a lack of information, its that you have your mind made up before considering any information and only accept the information that fits your preexisting opinion.

Presenting Lamarcus Aldridge with basically a free reign to post up jerami grant our biggest player in the line up at like 6'9. Nonetheless, this was potentially Game Of the year so far! Westbrook was a facilitator and its sad to see people still trying to hate and gripe at every thing he does. The man was 24pt 24ast 13reb 2steals on 50% FG and they still hatin on him sheesh

    That game just did not want to end. I was like "OH come on just end the suspense for Christ sake." I usually dont give a shit on how many assist Westbrook has nor how many rebounds as there are plenty of analysis here in youtube showing that Westbrook rebounds for the rebounds sake or purposefully pass a clear shot so he could get his triple double. In this game, he was not selfish and really played well. Did not play hero ball but rather trusted his teammates. As a spurs fan, I am glaw we won, but for the first time ever I respected Westbrook's game. He played Spurs-like.

    I was just about to count Russel out for not using this big muscle between his ears, but since Michael, Pip or Barkley said that he was the only player they enjoy to watch, i said to myself: "hold on, wait". Neither did Michael trust his teammates at the initial stage of his career. Once bulls developed third, fourth and fifth options it was all wood for the opposing teams :D

    at the beginning of the vid i was like "wow russ has really changed his game my doubting ass may be wrong" and towards the end "back to the low iq 'aggressive' player hes always been" that everyone praises him for. I know why people like Russ. Everyone likes the tough guy who plays aggressive. Guess what? No one fucking cares when you lose. Keep chucking them shots in crunch minutes, and getting gifted defensive rebounds. PG is the reason thunder is doing well. Not RW.

    With so many compliments to Russell Westbrook, I just HAD to pause the video @6:40 and read the comments' section to see if the Westbrook's followers are still salty. And then continued the video, and saw that, despite all the compliments, Westbrook really did mess up with those crucial decisions. Almost had it =/= Had it. A really huge difference. And then Westbrook's disciple's would actually stomp you, Coach, for criticizing their god? Yeah. I got nothing either.

    Russ played like this before the injury this season, and his stats are amazing. Then when the injury hits, he start playing like last seasons Russ by chucking up 3s. He need to play like a ben simmons that only shoots wide open 3s. I do not mind his TO rate at all because hes got a high usage rate, and he actually play even better defense with higher steal rate and deflections. I think Thunder will be a more complete team with Roberson coming back. We just dont have a solid shooting guard at the moment. Fergurson is too raw and abrinas is a glass cannon. Steven Adams is injured for most of the 4th quarter and overtime, which gives LA more opportunity to score. And Noel who played really well this season is injured. I think next year is Thunders best opportunity for championship since KD. They will unload schroder and patterson for a well season 3 and d types of player. Hopefully doing so will attract more veterans to take pay cut to join OKC. Thunder Up!!
