When you have watched this video, go watch this impact drill video!!
20/40V means it contains two sets of cells, each set providing 20 volts, meaning they connect them in parallel for 20 volt devices, and in series for 40 volt devices.
For me the weight is reassuring! I have this drill and the build quality, fit & finish & performance is INCREDIBLE for the money. Well done Aldi! Superb!
I'm glad to see what cordless tools ya'll have in the UK, I'm sure you seen our cordless tools we have only in the USA
I love my ferri lov my Ferrex tools I have one of those two impact a d just brought two sds drills and there great all with three years warranty you can’t beat them.
I borrowed a Workzone 20v drill from a friend, it being the previous mode of this. I thought it would be awful, but it blew me away, 300 screws and it showed no signs of running down. It’s powerful and reliable, I’m just so glad I didn’t go and spend £150, on a Makit that wouldn’t have given me anything extra. My friend bought another, because he works at Aldi, then he gave me his old one. Soooo impressed with it, £20 for the drill body, incredible. Buy some Wera or PB Swiss bits, as the included ones are not unreasonably junk😛😛😛🤣❤️❤️❤️
I was looking at this in Aldi and really tempted to get it because it was on offer for £17.99 which is a real bargain. The only thing that put me off was the weight I think it's 1.5kg not including the battery which is a shame. Apart from that it looks like a good Drill. In the end I went with their Brushless combi which is a bit lighter and more powerful. Good review video by the way 👍🏻
Good review, especially as you mentioned the weight and bulk. Which has made me decide on a lighter brushless (although more expensive) combi, cheers
Thanks very much for showing us how to unbox the drill and fiddle around with it. I and everyone else here will now clearly know if it's worth buying or not, won't we. Lucky for you the 'Dislikes' are turned off.
just got it for 15 € this week at Aldi in Berlin. On sale.Just the drill.
Hi. Thanks for the video. I wonder if you have some information about its compatibility with other brands' batteries?
Great vid, wonder where that screw ended up lol
Sometimes you need more weight in the drill whilst hammering through brick and so on ..it helps
Got one from Aldi today...hopely it won't give me any trouble 👍
When you say "has it got a torque?", I assume you mean has it got a clutch?
You have the 20/40 volt Lithium ion battery, but there's the smaller and lighter 20 volt battery, so isn't so heavy with the drill.
I like ferrex bernd
Walteronline is the Austrian company that supplies the Aldi ferrex range, they sell their own brand of tools as well at a good price
Ferrex is made by Walter Werkzeuge.
Price of this?
