I appreciate the customer response. Not only was he excited but he demonstrated that your customers are not randomly making the decision to have you do work for them, they are thoughtfully choosing an artisan to produce exquisite end products. People that hate on your videos and disrespect your customers with negative comments need to find something to be passionate about.

Steve, Imma be completely honest with you -- your videos are one of only a handful of things that relax me after long days of dealing with my engineering studies. You may feel that it's repetitious, but each shoe you do is slightly different in its own way in my eyes and the way approach each repair has a level of detail that I aspire to in my own work. So thank you for uploading everything that you do. And your editing quirks are just another thing that makes your videos endearing -- I don't have to hear intro music, ad space, or over the top commentary -- just a chill time fixing some shoes, boots, jackets, or bags.

Even though you "resole" shoes, you add enough variations alone the way, like resoling new shoes, that we learn something new each time (new shoes come apart easily and cleanly). And the truth is I like listening to you and your outlook on life while you do your craft. My dad always said to do the best you can each and every time and you do that, knowing that not everything is perfect, but you try each time to achieve perfection. You inspire met to be better in my leather work, and I love your sense of humor, thank you!

Please do not doubt yourself, you know a lot of things not just beautiful leather work and repair. However, your humility is one of the nicest things about you. I do not watch to see shoes fixed. Now with that being said it was around 700ish price point but well worth it. NO creases in the vamps in almost two years all i do is keep them brushed and use a coat of protectant. and shoe trees. I will definitely be getting a pair of cordovan next but getting ravello is like getting a new lambo for my feet! Agreed on Alden mixed quality. I have $600 Aldens, and the lace hooks suck, or at least how they are installed sucks. Within a few months the top two on both shoes were noticeably out of place, and now they look like they’ll fall out any day. And these are only weekend shoes. They would have been ripped out already if I wore them daily. Other than that, and the fiberboard, and the tongues immediately falling to the side of the shoes (which I since stitched in place, but shouldn’t have to!), I do love them.

Fantastic upscale job....shoes are superb beyond the manufacturer concept and makes me want to get a pair. I did manage to have a pair of Florsheim long wings redrafted locally with bras eyelets and Vibram non slip soles and heels. They also turned out casual and contemporary. Of course the idea came FM a previous video. You make me rock for a 78 yr old retired Anglic Priest and former military chaplain..Padre to the Canadian Airborne Regiment. Still trying to keep a positive outlook with a younger persona. Thanks Steve for your videos!
