Hello, please am confused when you said PBr3 even though reacting with the secondary alcohol proceeds through an SN2 reaction. Because we know secondary and tertiary alcohols are SN1 reactions.

They proceed in an sn2 reaction whenever they react with hydrogen halides

in 9:05, 1-carbon is bond with H,H,O,C to H,H,Br,C . How can I think this is inversion at carbon?
