This seems to be the most accurate and least judgemental video I've found on alchemy so far. I just hate when people include the propoganda as fact when talking about alchemy. I look forward to watching the rest of your vids!

Patience is a virtue. I'm glad there's people that take the time to master alchemical properties.. We'd have none of these first world luxuries if it wasn't for the experimenters.

Alchemy is so fascinating but so hard to understand in my opinion.

I'd like to understand more about alchemy not only the esoteric but also the _exoteric_ aspect of it and how they inter-relate. I've been trying to find a good book on the subject, but no luck so far. What I'd like is a book that goes in depth about these things (the physical-chemical processes as well as their esoteric meaning as the perfecting of the alchemist): The alchemical elements: Salt/Body, Sulphur/Mid, Quicksilver/Spirit The alchemical phases: Nigredo, Albedo, Citrinitas, Rubedo. The alchemical processes: Calcination, Dissolution, Separation, Conjunction, Fermentation, Distillation, and Coagulation.

It would be a large undertaking but you have presented in 6 minutes what has taken weeks for me to distill. I would love to hear you break these parts down further. I'm thankful that you took the time to make this!

tip: if you go more into Hermeticism than normal Magichemistry, then I would suggest reading about Mage: The Awakening/Mage: The Ascension which are TTRPGs that are very deep in Hermeticism without beating you over the head with it

Excellent video. I did notice one small mistake. Soul is Sulfur/Fire/Consciousness. Spirit/Mercury is the Mind. Spirit is a faculty of Consciousness (Soul). Mercury/Air/Water can refer to our Thoughts which ebb and flow through Mind. Mind manifests reality through Consciousness/Soul. The Universe is Cosmic Consciousness. Planets and Stars are a Coagulation of the One Mind; an amalgamation of pure Soul/Sulfur and pure Spirit/Mercury gives birth to the perfect Body/Salt.

Excellent I have believed these things all along and didn't realize it was alchemy. I majored in science in college. Science truly is my field. I live my life by it both conscious and subconsciously wowww.

Loved your small intro to alchemy. Quick and full of main points 👌 I just wanna say something on islam and religion. As a muslim who’s not too different from any other half religious person, I’ve looked into and listened and did a lil research on the history of my faith and verses of the Quran. All that to say is how there is a deep and rich mountain of knowledge and how many things are so interconnected with life, changing times, principles, to the basic level of our way of life. Just incredible and same goes for other religions in the east, west and even the indigenous people of the Americas before USA. And alchemy, before chemistry was born, looks to have spiritual criteria or lenses when examining ‘stuff’. And chemistry kinda just kicked that spirit down the stairs and never stopped rolling. And I would say you can see that till now if you consider how the state of the world is as a whole. That’s my TeD talk yall ✌🏾

Good job the emerald tablet is basically the centerpiece of alchemy. There is rumored to be more than one of them, but the one found with Hermes mummy is said to be buried on the giza plateau. The emerald tablet is believed to contain the base or root secret of alchemy and the deepest secret of nature on the creation of matter.

i recently learnt that in 1923, people were able to turn mercury into gold, by theoretically removing 1 proton. the people got a small bit of mercury and zapped it with a ton of electricity. this caused it to turn into gold. However, it turned back into mercury in a period time after. this was because it had too many neutrons, causing it to become radioactive

Keep in mind even your metabolism is a form of alchemy😅 1: Calcination You consume, it breaks down. 2: Dissolution The ashes of what you consume is combined with water, um or whatever fluids is in your body. 3: Separation What is filtered due to acids, and so on filtering that in dissolution. 4: Conjunction Ah yes the worthy nutrients, vitamins, proteins, the good stuff. You get the ****ing idea! 5: Fermintation This is a no brainer, like many brews bacteria and organisms continue the breakdown. Unless, you got some bad parasites down there which, might be a good idea to seek medical attention then. 6: Distillation Okay so now your gut boils and breaks down this stuff into a purified substance. Basically your stomach and intestines. Isn't this 💩 fun to Nutella about? 🤪 7: Coagulation This is where well substance forms into a crystalized state. Spirit and matter in well Esoteric Alchemy.... But NO THIS IS Metobolic Alchemy. What you ate went down the hatch, combusted, dissolved, broken down, filtered, absorbed, and well recoagulated into 💩, you know what that means, NUMBER II ! I hope you drank enough fluids, either that or that is one hell of Courics you are gonna have to deal with when your constipated. See the irony of biology, health, and alchemy! Please don't be mad at me Eadig for my Wyrd Essentric sense of humor. 😱 😏🥴😋🤪
