This steering wheel company is literally a few units up from my workplace , never even knew they were there! Looks really good Calvin! 😎

Done this to my car within a week of owning it transformed the interior and made it look so much more modern

Think it would look even better if you face lift the entertainment system

love that M colour stitching on the wheel! really finishes off the interior nicely

Need to upgrade the nav to pro nav

@@CalvinsCarDiary Bimmertech do a kit I believe as do Kies Motorsport (KZread)... One cool upgrade you could also do, if you've got the Harmon Kardon speakers is to upgrade the amplifier which is in the boot. Bimmertech do a straight swap that transforms the audio with no other changes! :)

Samuel Holden how much is the cost of this as my next car is either a M135i or M140i ? I currently have daily drove woth it in but couldn’t use the 3 litre as every day car as I do anywhere between 500 1000 miles a week

I couldn’t help but notice when the new wheel was been fitted that the media screen is so small! You need to retrofit/upgrade that for sure Calvin..

Haven't got an M135i, would love a facelift one but they seem to be holding their value still 2nd hand, bit out of my budget, even the 1st gen ones but I'm not too keen on the looks. Defo gonna get a steering wheel retrim on the 8P S3 early next year-bit more within my budget at the moment haha (and I love the look of them). Such a nice steering wheel though mate, love the stitching. They did a great job of 'ironing out the kinks' in the body work, lovely paintjob on it now.

Does make a big difference but the tiny 2 clock binnacle just reminds me of those similar clusters you got in some original BL Minis like the clubmans 😂

Human Simpson nah they’re illegal, police generally have bigger things to worry about though, don’t want to tempt fate and get pulled for mine lol but I’ve had them for months and touch wood been okay

Doing the same thing with my Alfa Romeo Mito TB... Love the little hothatch but that fat, godawful looking stock steering wheel is annoying the life out of me. Last summer, I purchased a stock wheel from the 159, which in my opinion still looks modern to this day. Got all the parts for the wheel and gonna get it fully restored to replace the original wheel... I do agree that steering wheels are important.

Love the car but I will say..... at 12:33 you complain about a car at over 50k miles..... dude these cars go for 250k miles plus... you hardly broke it in. Anyone watching out on here.... just make sure it had good FSH and you're good to go. I am rocking a 2010 1 series E87 at 109k miles. She is getting the treatment to keep it going for another few years. Good luck my dude!

Sam Gandhi PWG engines have smaller turbo and outlet so stage 2 will give you max 375 hp.
