This is not viable for low tiers anymore for us nonfocus refiners. The cost to go from 4.1 to 4.2 is like 3000k when 4.2 ore on the market is less than 800. SBI nerfed this to the ground so people like me with a mammoth and no premium couldnt mass produce 4.2 and so on for profit. With a full inventory if 4.2 you can make like 5 to 10 million per run so it got nerfed hard. No idea how to make it profitable anymore.

Man, I recently tries to do this, made all the math, all the transmute pricing, everything, and then once I made the final calculation I was making only around 22.5 million a month per account. When I realized I worked my ass off the whole month to make just around 1M in real profit considering the price of Premium, I quit. I have around 5 accounts that are max spec in more than one refining, and I can;t seems to make a real profit. It was a fun month that ended in a really sad way.

What tier were you refining on a Maxed account to only make 22.5m in a month? Most 7.3/8.3 refining on West server is closer to 50-55m per month.

If enough people were interested in getting standalone video guides or 1 on 1 economy coaching I would do it. Just don't know how interested the community would be in it and would take away time from streaming :(

Fletcher journals are much easier to fill but don't get as much silver as the tinker journals typically.

Is there a nice spreadsheet somewhere to make this calculation easier?

Not publicly no. All the large refiners I know from the stream just type the costs into a spreadsheet and use that instead of having to go to the plot to check every time

Man, i think u r the utuber who does the number and pen and paper...so i m gonna ask u straight. For refining , do u exactly calculate the number of refined product u will get in profit calculation. Or just one time 30% or 40% whtver the return rate is and go start?

@@DoublebacknvAlbion good to get a reply from you. So the calculations wd b better if you can just predict exact amount of things u gonna get after refine or craft right? That will be super easy to get a detailed track of the building tax total and setup market tax..and u get literally a record of every penny spent. Now m saying all thinking u r passionate about the process of refine and craftsmenship unlike others who has billions and just never calculate anything coz at the end he will get profit ( and doesnt matter if dont..coz has billions). So on this note, do u feel it will b a great contribution in the process if u can predict the final amount of product u r gonna get at the end of refine or crft cycle till u hav no raw mats left...also it b good to know minimum how much u need to buy to obtain ur desired number of product. I will be eagerly waiting for your response.

It's not to make profit its just to get the material. Focus refining the mats is what makes the profit.

Thumbs up! Helpful info. Terrible voice. Pretty bad presentation. At the very least, footage matches the VO. But VO combines multiple sentences into a long ramble with footage to match is impossible for anybody to follow. Like impossible without having to rewind. That is not how you ELI 5 something speaking one sentence at a time with footage showing the value at each point in the calculation. Also mentions market taxes for vendors which I have never seen or paid. I have only paid usage fee which was exactly as I calculated with no sort of tax. But at least the info is useful. That you can actually use a hidden recipe to upgrade an enchantment.
