shair00 yeah great you didn't. It slows down for most of us and we come to a point when we realize the people who teased us were just immature. Regular teasing can break people. It makes some of us bitter but I think most of us just learn what not to do to other people. I don't like to make other people feel bad.

Especially since a white man can take pills and be blacker than a black man and a albino could use a spray tan and look lightskin. Light ts makes no sense color isn’t a thing really nowadays any white man can become black but they still look white and blacks can have albinos and they still look black

I really don't know why people stare and talk about it in the first place. I find it very normal and not worthy mentioning. When I see a person with albinism in the street I don't stare at all. Yes I say to myself "He is different." but not in a bad way.

I have Albinism myself. I know this video is a bit dated but the information is still the same. I’m so glad that the awareness is out there. I don’t perceive Albinism as a curse or a negative trait. Society is ignorant and uneducated about this condition. I hope more videos like this will come out to spread awareness. I know a lot of people with Albinism who are very successful.

So called White peoples were never actually a "singular white race", but are albino's; modern white Europeans are the combination of African albino's from Africa and Indian albino's from Southern Asia, breeding and mixing together in Northern Europe before the advent of the Roman empire.

Kenyon, I have albanism too. I dye my hair too. I am now Director of Camp Marcella a camp in NJ for children who are legally blind. That is where I met other children with albanism. There was no specilal equipment when I went to school (I'm 32 now) but with my family's support I now, in addition to camp, own my own daycare, and am a PhD candidate. I can't tell you people will stop judging or commenting, because in my world they still do. However, there is a sport for you -look it up Goalball it's so much fun. Stay strong and achieve your dreams! ~Krystyn

That's why i am gonna just understand you and live you.. I need to let you grow up a bit mentality...

This is awesome and heartbreaking. I agree with some of the commentators below who say that a person with albinism lives a totally normal life. However, middle school is a very challenging time for all children, especially those who the "in-group" views as different. He will hopefully grow into a self-aware and self-confident adult, but I hope that nobody forgets how hard it is to be different amongst your peers at such a difficult age.

Honestly he's beautiful and sweet. And his brother who takes care of him by love - the cutest thing! I have a baby girl who has albinism. When I look at her well i can swear I see one of the sweetest children in this world, because she is definitely... not just because she's my daughter. They are so soft, pure, beautiful, like not from this Earth. And most of all they are a part of the youth of the nation of the population on this planet. Remember that. The world is full of different kinds of people that's way it's beautiful. That's why the life is beautiful and worthy. Every parent has to explain this to their children! Everyone!

Can I just say, I think this kid is absolutely brilliant. I love his personality, I love how he expresses himself. I think he is one of the coolest, laid back kids I've ever seen. I love how he knows that he's cute.. I love that, I think that is spectacular. He is spectacular. And I love his awesome brother as well. Praise God.

omg i love him!! im albino just like him and i no how hard it is to fit in with everyone but now a days i see less and less of that happening to me, more people are already knowing what albinism is, like yesterday in class someone asked me if i was white and the boy sitting across from him said not shes albino so that make me happy. don't worry you got your brother family, theres nothing to be worried about if they love you and thats all you need oh and P.S. i think your really!! cute!

These children in school won't understand unless a teacher explains it. Albinism is colorless- it's not white.. although he appears white to them, they are hurting his feelings by saying that. You can clearly see he's an African American boy.. with no pigment. He's beautiful!
