Simple, the Big Five are the reason for that. You see how UK, Spain and Germany got 0 points for a reason, they definitely were wasted on someone like Albina, because they wouldn’t have qualified without the automatic qualification. The EBU needs to find another way to compensate the Big Five’s financial support instead of putting them in the Grand Finals, there sure ought to be other ways then this...

SImply because that's how the points ended up with the split between jury and televote. Just like how russia 2019 was 9th in the jury and 4th in the televote but ended 3rd, just... in the opposite direction. Or how the winner of '19 and '16 wasn't either the televote or jury winner.

It’s more so their points at the end of the day. There were probably countries that got like televoting 4th and Jury voting 14th or other way around (just an example). They probably could have been compensated for that reason and Croatia sadly fell in the middle of the pack for the Semi-Finals, so that’s why she barely didn’t qualify 🥲

Its been a month since eurovision ended and the only song im listening to is this one. Croatia should have won!!!

It breaks my heart to hear how happy and proud of herself she is at the end when she thanked the crowd. She almost cried happy tears. And she stayed positive even after not qualifying. The woman who is head of Croatian delegation started crying but not Albina. She went over to her and comforted her saying that it's OK and that they all gave their best.

2023, still mad it didn't achieve to final :( With the newest voting system (only televoting), this would be promoted. Unfortunately, despite there were top 10 in both jury and televoting, it finished 11th. :(

The song is more than good enough for the final, they put a great effort in staging it accordingly and her vocals were on point. The only thing she lacked was the swedish or russian flag, which seem to automatically qualify you.
