Here after he signed back with the cardinals. Things we love to see

Love to get the gang back together
Everyone talks about the huge drop-off Pujols had, which is true, but it's only a drop-off because of how dominant he was in the early 2000s. His final season in St Louis was the "worst" of his cardinal career, but he barely hit below .300 and still hit 30 home runs. That's still an amazing season, but it just shows how amazing he was during his prime, hitting .330+ with over 30 home runs and 100 RBIs easily. He was the most dominant player in baseball in his time as a Cardinal. Coming from a Die-Hard Cardinals fan, he is still my all-time favorite player.

I said the same thing!! The only thing he is not doing the same is hitting for average like he was in St. Louis. He was so dominant in his prime. Ten straight seasons hitting with a .300BA//30HR//100RBI. All while never striking out over 100 times. Some players were consistent. Some players were dominant. But Pujols? He was consistently dominant.

Welcome back to St. Louis My Childhood Hero.. Love you dude..! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I missed you
In my opinion the greatest hitter to ever play the game. 10 seasons with over 100 runs, 14 seasons with over 100 rbi, oh and he hit about 45 doubles and batted well over .300 most of the time too. Even in LA he put up over 100 rbi and swatted about 30 homers a year. The real thing to me is how little hed strike out especially when you look at elite hitters today who strike out more in one season then Pujols did in 3. To think he did it all with zero steroid use and a positive image through his whole career hes easily the number one hitter of all time and a no doubt HOFer

@Lighthouse in the Storm in his prime he was because of consistency that no one else had. Especially starting a career out from day one being consistent.
Best hitter of our lifetime, plain and simple. Long live Prince Albert
INSANE PUJOLS STATS: - 10 seasons (to begin his career) of batting over .300, broken on his last season in STL, where he batted .299 - In those first 10 season, he hit over 30 HR and 100 RBI - 3 MVPs in those 10 years - 2 Gold gloves - 2 Hank Aaron awards - All but ended Brad Lidge's career - 3 Home Runs in ONE World Series game, in three consecutive at bats Second best hitter to ever play this game.

Jayden Cordovez maybe Jr, or Rose. Bonds doesn’t come close, not sure how people even mention bonds as a better hitter than pujols.
WHEN he goes into the Hall, it better be in an STL uniform. 9 minutes of career highlights with STL and 2 with LA. He'll break a lot of records with the Angels but will always be known as and has all of his awards as a Cardinal. And I love him, no matter what team he is on

I miss Albert Pujols, but I never resented his leaving the Cardinals. What hurt me more was the extended "personal services" obligation that would keep him from us for 20 years, not just the 10 playing years. Still, I learned from Ray Lankford's career that when a player signs a professional contract he belongs to Major League Baseball. We love to claim our Musials, Williamses, Ripkenses, Gwynns, and Jeters - Hall-of-Famers who play a career for one franchise. But the greats belong to all of Baseball and I've accepted that it's a good thing for others to see the Ruths, Mayses, Aarons, Griffeys, and Pujolses wear their uniforms even in the twilight of their careers. We tend to be so selfish.

Thanks: I didn't know his 600th was a grand slam too. I've made several comments on this video but I hope you don't feel cheated that Albert Pujols has not been his best as an Angel. As a Cardinals fan, I can tell you that he has been giving his best to you as he gave his best to us. Many of us wish we still had him, to retire as a Cardinal. And there is a legitimate fear that if he suffers enough hostility from those who resent his leaving St. Louis that he may enter the Hall of Fame sporting an Angels cap. I mean, he belongs to you for 20 years (which I hate). But you got a good citizen, someone who will be a positive for your franchise and city for a long time.
hasn't hit over .300 since 2011 and his career average is still .302...

007Hazmatt Nice of the Angels to pay him for what he did in St. Louis. At the time, I hated it, but Albert leaving turned out to be a big break for the Cardinals. If he had stayed, St. Louis would not have signed Beltran or drafted Wacha, and probably don’t make it to the 2013 World Series. Albert gave Cardinals fans countless wonderful memories. I wish him the best.

JOHN LEON Respectfully disagree. If Pujols had stayed, St. Louis would not have signed Beltran or been able to draft Wacha. Both were key parts of the 2013 NL Championship. Nobody knew it at the time, but Albert’s best years were behind him. This in no way diminishes his accomplishments. Easily one of the top 10 right handed hitters of all time and, being a gold glove defender made him one of the best all around players as well.

Pujols just reached 100 RBI's for the 14th time in 17 seasons. Also surpassed 20 HR for the 16th time. Yeah his AVG, OBP and SLG % are insanely down the last 5 years, but the dude can still mash!!

As a Cubs fan, I've always liked Pujols. He's a great player, he's a good man outside the game, seems to be religious if his pointing at the sky means anything, and he doesn't use steroids. I hated seeing him do anything against the cubbies, but as soon as the game was over, I liked him again. With any luck, he'll stay healthy long enough to knock Bonds' cheating ass off the home run record spot.

One of the most lethal swings in history
I love Albert, he's one of the most beautifully sound hitters of all time, he reminds me of Ken Griffey Jr in terms of not being involved in steroids and having a naturally gorgeous swing of the bat. Plus, he's not just a home run hitter either, he's in the top tier all time in total hits and RBIs as well. I hope he goes out on top, that'd be the best way to go
Despite hitting .300 is probably just a shadow of his former self, he's still rising fast in the HR record in the 500 hr club. I wish to see him trump above Bonds one day :)

I just remember when I was 7 years old, my mom got me a copy of MLB 2K7 on PS2. There were just TWO hitters I could not get past in their teams' lineups. One was Alex Rodriguez, and the other was Albert Pujols. And everyone who played that game knows what I'm talking about. Every. Single. Pitch. Home Run. There will never be another Albert Pujols. Watch him now while you still can. He's obviously not the same player, but you're still witnessing greatness.
I like how he holds the bat like he's a gladiator after a home run.

Top 3 hitter of all time? Surely top 5.
My hope at this stage is that he finish his career with at least a .300 lifetime average. He's getting dangerously close to going below that figure. He averaged .328 with the Red Birds, so you can see how far he has fallen off with the Halos. I don't mean to disparage here, but if Pujols had the lengthy career he has had, and only accomplished the level of play he has had in Anaheim, the HOF would not be a topic.
If you grew up loving baseball around illinois or missouri and especially liked the cardinals, you worshiped pujols. Everyone wanted to be #5 on the baseball team, kids copied his stance, everyone wanted to be 1B, he made baseball awesome for us growing up in this area
