Albert King live in Denmark 1992

Музыка

Albert King at Djurs Bluesland, Denmark in July 1992.
Please be aware that this a amateur footage transferred from an old Hi8 tape. The video is shaky and there are some dropouts/blackouts due to the old tape. Well..its better than nothing at all.

I hear proto Hendrix Albert's playing. ALOT of rock and roll was influenced by this man alone. His licks are fundamental.

Those are indeed the names that appear in the video I mentioned. I think Randell should be spelled Randall though. Even so, when I Google that name I find very little info. Seems odd given how good his playing is. Just listen to 4:10 in this video for example! Amazing blues guitar. Is he still alive? Has toured with anyone apart from Albert King?

@@MontyCantsin5 Their names are Randell Boykins and Derek Harris . While Harris is a mediokre player , Boykins is a really good guitarist. The whole band accompanied Albert King in his european tour in 1992. I was lucky to see them live in Thessaloniki ,Greece 22/6/1992 in a great live performance.

@@user-ge3tz9sf7z: Thanks. I found the names eventually (see my comment above). You're right in mentioning that Boykins seems to be a more natural player than Harris. In all the live clips I've watched of King with this iteration of the band, Boykins' solos really stand out.
