Don't go there, we have guys who were grand dragons of the KKK in the Hall. And a few liars, murderers, and whatnot... think about it. This guy was a beast at hitting, and as a fan, realize he wasn't afraid of anyone. He's just a man like we all are, and he was never fake, ever... he didn't lie like most others. ALBERT BELLE... I miss your at-bats. You taught most of us a lot, and baseball fans miss you.

My biggest memory of 1995 was how royally Belle was ripped off of the MVP that year. The only thing Mo Vaughn had more of was strike-outs, and that year shows without a doubt how vindictive and biased many of the sportswriters who are on the voting committees are.

.317 batting average, 121 runs scored, 52 doubles, 50 homers and 126 RBI's.......and that was a strike shortened season. I know the strike wasn't as short but imagine what his numbers would've been had they played 18 more games.

It's his behavior people have always had issues with. Did the media make him refuse to take first after being HBP? Of course not. Belle, by his own admission, has made a few poor choices in his playing career and the media pointed them out. Rightly so. So stop with the holier than thou nonsense about the media. That's YOUR narrative not Belle's or anyone else's.

Furthermore, up 3-1 in ALCS in 2007, up 3-1 in 2016's World Series, and up 2-0 in 2017's best of 5 to give up 3 wins in all 3 cases to lose another World Series and not make it at all; good lord! Nagy was my favorite pitcher. I used to pitch like him in little league. I have always wanted to meet him. That team was unreal. The most exciting baseball in my lifetime. And in my opinion, the greatest team in history. That line up was so stacked and the pitching was unreal. All those come from behind wins was unreal. I never gave up hope even when they were down. Just like when they came back to beat Seattle. I remember where I was when Eddie got his 3,000. I remember where I was when Belle got his 50/50. I remember where I was when Manny hit that home run off Dennis.

They were going to stop the game because of the 1 am curfew, and finish it the next afternoon, the stadium was sold out of course and it was a warm summer night, Albert Belle was the first batter, as he stood in the batters box, going through his practice swings, they started playing hells bells by ac DC, he slowly walked towards the batters box, and the song got louder and louder, everyone knew he would hit a home run, he did crush the first pitch, the crowd was insane, to be Albert Belle at that moment, priceless, I think my best baseball memory ever

We never won a title. No magic, if you don't win the WS. Belle left. Thome left and we built him a statue!! Both never won a title in Cleveland. The only guy who never left is Jose Ramirez. Replace Thome with Jose, please. Zero titles since 1948. Were you there? They all leave. And they all say they wanted to.....never mind.
