ALBANY part 2... discover a different side of this remarkable region | Western Australia Road Trip

Travelling to Albany Western Australia? Here’s a short guide on where to stay, and what to see and do on your road trip. PS stick around til the end for my favourite part of the video hehehehe.
This week we soak in the cultural side of Albany, stepping back in time at the National Anzac Centre, discovering the local hot spot ‘The Squid Shack’ and kicking back for sundowners back at our FREE beach camp.
WHERE TO STAY
⛺️ Cosy Corner East Campground
An epic FREE CAMP (outside peak season, and $15 per site in peak), right next to the beach. Toilets & a dump point included. Arrive at 10am ish to grab a spot as people leave. 20 mins drive to Albany, grab a coffee from the lovely general store in walking distance (they also do morning yoga).
WHAT TO DO?
🇦🇺😢 Step back in time at the National Anzac Centre
Calling all non-museum folk, this one’s for you. Please don’t look past this gem, as it’s the NATIONAL centre, there is SO MUCH TO EXPLORE and learn about. There is a huge outdoor area that’s 100% free and an inside exhibition with a small entry fee. Honestly the best ‘museum’ we’ve been to.
🐟🍟 Indulge at The Squid Shack
A local hot spot in Emu Point for super local, super fresh fish and chips. Highly recommend the Grouper - very succulent and juicy! YUM
🍻🏝 Kick back with a Wilson’s Beer
Grab yourself some local beers, our preference is Wilson’s Blonde Ale (not sponsored!), find yourself a west facing beach and kick back to watch the sunset with a cold one. Enjoy guys!

Albany and the S.Coast of WA - one of Australia’s gems! Both Part 1 & 2 showcased it well. Thanks guys for your customary high quality videography, cheeky commentary and illuminating take on life🍺. Go the iconic Albany Wilson Brewery too! Shrimpy That ManInHisBlackVan

Nawww thanks guys ☺️ we do love it hey! Although don’t love the edit, scrubbing though too much footage of light shining through trees and hundreds of slightly different shots of waves crashing hahahaha

Thanks Jason! Yeah it really has got to be the best museum we’ve ever been too, such a variety of ways to learn and something about soaking it all up where it all started makes it a hell of a lot more moving.

Love your works on vid and editing. Good content and I’m still curious why algorithms hasn’t caught up. Should be at 40k sub by now. Your vid quality is definitely up there for 200k+. Both content and entertainment is up there. Hey hopefully it catches up soon
