Alato Arvet - It's (yet) another exciting micbrand out of Sweden!

Back in the day, it was hard to find any decent Swedish watch brands but these days we have plenty of great ones and here’s yet another unique and fun design that I hope people will warm to and support.

You have spoken, and we have listened! Thanks to feedback from enthusiastic supporters like you, we've identified key improvements to make the ARVET even better. Here are the enhancements for the bulk production watches: 1. The end links will be adjusted to accommodate a rotating center link, making them female. This will make it fit better on smaller wrists. 2. The text on the dial will be slightly larger. You won't even notice. 3. The minute hand will be a bit wider to allow for more lume and better match the hour hand.

Ever since first crossing paths on FB sketches for this watch I have felt myself wanting to really like it and yet not quite warming up to it as much as I think that I should. As much as I enjoy the 'stance' on your wrist, I'm not aure that it would be for me. The multi-textural finished dial is another thing that currently is recurring in several watches. Pedral had something along these lines, but the king of doing multi-finish with auch absolute conviction that I cannot help but smile and by impresses has to be Tennet. Still, I did not budge but in that instance the major hurdle has to be a very hefty price tag. Here I am just nit quite sure that that the dial ultimately looks quality. I realise that we're looking at a prototype, and for me improving the printig and index finishing would be essential for this to bwcome more convincing. Also wondering if the dial sections woudl not have improved from stronger separation. I'm sympathetic to tge index shapes and hands. They remind my of Direnzo hands (and some others) but have very elegant dressy proportions that I certainly welcome. It was difficult for me to gauge the level of case and bracelet finishing to expect. If it outperforms the typical at the 400usd price, it may be very interesting, because I do think that this design requires quite impressive finishing to truly come across well. When being eccentric, it becomes essential to not leave too many other doubts. Very likeable debut, but I would strongly desire to see a production version before seriously considerig it. And that is a bit of a downside with KS.

Measured feedback as per usual! I had concerns as well and I know what you're saying about needing to nail the finish, but the unique design and the way it sits on the wrist really had me convinced quite quickly, even with the unusual shape indices which is normally not something I warm to personally. I'm excited to see where this brand goes in future and I hope this model is successful so we can see more from Pierre!

Hi Benjamin, The finishing of the watch is gorgeous and top notch. Note that it is a prototype in the video. Bulk production quality is always better. I say - back the campaign with confidence and you will for sure feel the love for it when you have it in your hands ☺️ Thanks for following the project with such engagement. /Pierre

@@ALATOKlockor great to see your commitment to it. I personally struggle with KS campaigns and buying on prototypes when there are a few things to clearly sort out and adjust still. When it is just to even further refine something that is essentially already excellent, it may suffice, but generally I far prefer to buy with ample time for contemplation based on product reviews of the exact product I should receive. The KS model rarely works in that way, it's a bit antithetical, I suppose. Sometimes I feel that this desire on my part makes me miss out on potentially great deals, but ultimately I don't really want to buy watches for the deal, but because they completely convince me of their need to be in my modest collection. That stretch goal light teal does look awfully interesting though. I think that might just make the most of the golden handset. Also, since it will ship from the far east, I suppose, there is no advantage to the brand being EU based, right? That is to say: expect full import costs?

Thanks for sharing this new micro brand watch. I found the US price to be around $472 dollars before tax and customs. Like the pattern style of the dial, wish the dial had number on it. Lume looks great, just wish the seconds hand had some on the tip.
