The traffic issue is easy, just turn it off. If they implement dirt and grime, put turning indicators in cab, and fix the ugly blinking yellow drop off areas, it would improve a lot. An easy fix for the ugly yellow areas is an option to turn off or make it once you get there, it turns off. I think cones should be an option also instead of blinking yellow areas. Just my thoughts.

That's the one kind of genre that I'd LOVE to see on my PSVR2. There's plenty of shooters, and not one good simulator where you can just simply drive something (train, taxi, truck, train, tram, car, not to mention plain), got immersed and relax.

Vr is available in TSW 4, so you can drive a train in VR 😉. Do not own a vr headset, but TSW is an beautiful Game.

@@bert1974 you got me excited for a few seconds until I checked that. There's no official support for vr in tsw, unfortunately. It can only be done with mods, so that's not gonna work on PS5. Thanks for advice though

Completely agree , it's a fun experience , nice and chilled and relaxed , after a while you hardly notice the 30fps

Looks like a great game Lee and thanks for bringing always good content for us :) It’s like a little gem of a game that will hopefully only get better over time. Played 30 minutes. Seems great so far. All games have a few little bugs and hopefully the devs will patch ASAP. Looking forward to playing some more

I absolutely love the acceleration rate and engine sound amazing sound fx as a drivers mate as a job I no we are in UK but so realistic I'm a drivers mate in a 2022 Shania v8 used to be in a limited edition knights of the round table truck and we had lancelot 😊❤

@@CGDGAMES why not? Xbox is a transport gaming waste land right now. I know that has to do with 2 main factors: 1. The system requirements. 2. The belief that console gamers wouldn't put the time in for long session gaming. I can't help the first one...but we can help the second.

The frame rate does not bother me at all , I think a game like this enhances with 60fps but doesn't really dampen it at 30 , it's a nice chilled experience , fairly slow paced so I hardly notice it !

Yeah did 25 loads up there. I've got plenty of pics and video. I want to see The Dalton Hwy on this game.

Not a bad game at all but there's still quite a lot wrong with it: Framerates are constantly fluctuating between 20-30fps, my G920 shifter doesn't work, ghosting is really bad, I cannot buy a new truck because it crashes each time I try, rain effects are only present on the windscreen when it's throwing it down, there are rendering issues in the snow, traffic hitboxes are way out, vehicles turn into you at junctions as well as randomly run into your back end and there are several instances where AI traffic stops to let you out but give you no room to drive around them. I wouldn't go as far as to say that they're gamebreaking....but they definitely take a hit on immersion levels. One thing I would really like to thank the devs for though is the price. Not getting ripped off with overpriced PC ports is a very rare thing nowadays 👍

There’s a work around with buying trucks. Don’t use the laptop in the HQ but if you go to the customisation you can buy trucks from there.

The most things they gotta fix on this is the mirrors, the speed dial and the trees also the crashing where you buy your trucks but overall I love this game. They have real music on here. I heard the Kings of Leon, Johnny Cash, Rascal Flatts, and many more. I’m very impressed with this game.

I been playing on PS5 and I noticed those tress flickering as well in the exact same place on the map but going the opposite direction! but it is the best trucking game on console (snowrunner don't count)

On series x i cant seem to work my gears manually using a fanatec shifter, and i wish they would add a way of looking left/right in cab view without having to pick up the controller, a pain at junctions

£21 on xbox but price for ps5 is wrong as should be the same.

15hrs in and loving it (PS5). Definitely some bugs to work out. *I have also run into the "popping" and I noticed something. It has only happened when I utilized the starting truck. I opened up a second parking spot and grabbed the free Armageddon themed one and haven't experienced that with it. *I had at least 6 game crashes the 1st day, same day it dropped (8 hrs play time) every time I used the HQ computer to look through the truck purchase site. I sent in error reports every time and next day a patch dropped. Hopefully, that fixed it. *The saving sucks so bad. I don't know about y'all but life still goes on outside the game and knowing where I am going to pick up when I play again is a basic necessity for gaming. I can understand no manual saving during a job but c'mon! Outside of one, at least have specific actions that trigger the auto save. Take MudRunner for example. If you open the main menu, it auto saves. How about an auto save after sleeping or customizing changes! *The frame rate for the mirrors is meh. I prefer to 1st person as much as possible so having continuous visuals in the mirrors would be helpful. "The AI is both surprisingly intelligent and dumb at the same time😂. I have been T-boned multiple times since the AI doesn't yield or stop at stop signs. They have literally driven under my trailers at roadblocks while turning around which forced me to get the roadblock removal perk to use the chainsaw which I really wanted to wait on until after I expanded the inventory space. The good things: >The literal live radio station is genius. They play all genres and mix up the time periods. Normally I play my own music when gaming. Don't need to with ART. >It looks good and plays smoothly. Cops even give out tickets for speeding. >It's a solid game. Leaves room for changes, updates and additions. +I'd certainly like to see a multi-player addition. Contracting drivers to fulfill deliveries is common for trucking companies. They could limit it just for the available parking spots unlocked by the player. +Being able to hire AI drivers to make deliveries for our own company needs to be part of the game. It wouldn't make much sense to be able to expand the company and still be the only driver.

Anyone else on Xbox series s having the game crash a lot and always crashing when trying to buy new trucks. I was really enjoying the game but if I can't buy new trucks then what's the point of the game? Be interested to hear if this is a common issue. Don't want to request a refund, but the game is certainly buggy and not fully fit for use. Real shame.

Use the customisation menu instead to buy and browse trucks, from what they said in their discord this is the work around. Don’t buy using the computer in the HQ. I’ve actually got 3 trucks as the dlc ones are free.

Ets and ATS has had over 12 years of development with many many enhancements , every one has to start somewhere !

Series s graphics are so blurry, dashgauges are so fckng blurry i cant even see them.

Thats the one thing putting me off getting this. I mean, I can understand the game world and draw distance being a bit blurry , but the textures on the gauges? Unless that is due to the resolution being really low and then being upscaled, rather than the texture but from the vids I have seen it's the actual texture which is blurred.

YES! It really does need this. Series X has a stupid amount of power, they should use variable screen resolution and give us at least say a rock solid 40fps option.

I was thinking of buying it but now I'm not sure if I should. Because I feel like the developers tried to pull a fast one with the price on the people that were excited for the game. I just find it weird that the developers didn't not say anything about the price until someone sent in a screenshot.

I think it was a mistake by Sony , with all the hype of the release it was overlooked by the development team and the publishers , it wouldn't suprise me if they had already noticed the issue before the screenshot was sent in ! But unfortunately it takes a while for Sony to re correct the price ! I wouldn't let this put you off what is a great trucking experience pal

I love the idea of the game, it has huge potential, especially if they added multiplayer. But there’s so many game breaking bugs that makes it unplayable. The rearview mirrors are 2 FPS. And it’s impossible to buy trucks right now. My game crashes every time I click on the website to buy trucks

It is current gen optimised but the age old problem is Series S performance. Microsoft flat refuse to allow Series X exclusive games so what tends to happen with smaller dev teams is that they simply get the game working on Series S and just upscale the finished product to Series X because they can't afford to make two versions of the same XBox game. That's why time and time again you'll see games with identical poor draw distances, pop-in, and average quality visuals across both consoles...with the only difference between the two being an improved resolution and/or framerate for Series X. It seems like ART is no different because it looks and performs almost identical across both consoles - but one is dynamic 2160p/30fps and the other is, 1080p(?)/30fps.

Can’t even look at the Class 2 truck on console

Be careful when pumping gas I have been shoved under the map twice but I haven't been able to reliably replicate it but I think it has something to do with the curb in between the pump and the truck

I absolutely hate the fake reflection on the bonnet of the lorry especially with the wiper reflecting reversed on the bonnet when it is on.

40 reviews on Xbox have it sitting at 4 stars. That’s a good indication that it’s worth the 20 bucks

I'm sure they will , this maybe not be the best example , truck driver the American dream came out a complete shambles last September , and that game has come on leaps and bounds with hardly any audience , so this has to improve with the sales it's had already on console from yesterday alone !

If they can somehow get the game running like I should I will be. Right now I feel like they shouldn't call this a series s/x game. It feels more like a Xbox one or PS4 game. Maybe even Xbox 360/PS3 If I wanted a game with no traffic and mediocre tasks .. I would have stuck with snowrunner. This didn't hit the mark for me

Oh no... This is definitely not "The trucking simulator we've been crying out for here on console", I usually buy PC to Console ports as I prefer playing my games on console as when I play them on PC they just feel pointless as the achievement system means NOTHING and they can be cheated so easily.
