reminded me of my trip north in 2016. I'd been riding about two years then too. Saw enough road construction to last a long, long time, though the trip is a pleasure to look back upon.

Thank you both for the great video series. I am planning a Deadhorse run with four buddies next summer. Your videos have helped us in our planning purposes. Congrats on your ride and finish!!

Lol, thank you.
hose construction zones SUCKED. We hit them when it was raining and both of us nearly went down over the course of the 3 that were there when we went through. I wish we had had the time to take a second night in Dawson City, but the schedule was what it was. Top of the World Highway was one of my favorite rides of the trip! I am enjoying seeing your trip.

Those construction areas were so awful lol. Yes, I loved the Top of the World Highway too. It was one of my faves too.
Joy and Larry.....you guys are so fortunate to be living this life. You guys do an excellent job documenting your travels and I look forward to viewing each post. Miss the Thanksgiving visits but I'll be fixing an apple pie today in memory of the good times precovid. Take care and be SAFE!! ❣

Kudos to you Joy for only riding two years and taking on this epic adventure. Nice catch on that sketchy dirt portion. My friends and I have the same trip planned for 2024. Question for you - I can’t tell what tires you both are running. Do you have street tires on the XR? I can’t imagine there’s many options for dual sport tires on those 17” wheels.

Thanks for the compliments Chris. I have Michelin Anakee 80/20 Adventure tires on my bike. Those were recommended by my salesman at the dealership when I bought the bike. He knew we were planning to do some off-roading. Larry also had an 80/20 tire but cannot remember the brand. He usually does the Anakee as well but they were out of stock when we needed them for his bike.

I just heard about that very recently. We did not stop at the Saloon so I think that is where they do that. I’m not sure I would have lol. I paid good money for hiking quick dry undies for this trip lol.

The ladies blow up their underwear in the canon and leave them in the saloon. The men just leave their cap!

Yes, it has been confirmed. You were our 1000th subscriber! Thank you so much for subscribing. Now, where would you like that cookie sent? 😀
Would rather hear a narrative or just the wind and bike rather than the repetitious music.
