James! Always take your coat with you from this time thru spring as you never know when you may break down and need some warmth!

My grandmother in-law taught me to take a sharp knife and hallow the core out of the cabbage before cooking it. The layers just come right off in the pan. I use a pair of tongs to pull up on the leaf and it comes right off

Suggestion: Make a playlist with all videos you’ve ever made (Becky at Acre Homestead does this) At night I choose a favorite new creator and I fall asleep watching a playlist then let their videos play all night while I sleep. That gives them a lot of watch hours and playing complete ads all night.

Those cabbage rolls look so delicious I need to make myself some. I don't buy my Meat at Walmart either lol we use a market called Fresh Cuts and the meat is always fresh and delicious. Great video we always bring our dog a treat from grocery shopping day. I swear he's like a kid lol ❤🇨🇦🍁

We love cabbage rolls. But our is a little different. We mix rice, beef or sausage, with spaghetti sauce, and cheese!! Make the mixture, stuff it, and place it on top, then add extra cheese to the top. It's so good!!! It was weird to see without the cheese...lol. You should really try it with the sauce mixed in, and the cheese. It's so good. Take care.

If you want to get Ollie a really good chew toy, go to Alaskan Fur Exchange next time you're in Anchorage. Get him a caribou or moose antler piece, get the one with the base of the antler attached..they us last well over a year and that's with a Pitbull and a Presa Canario chewing on them😃.

I noticed the dairy products ere higher but the other things were just a little higher. You can’t walk in the stores without spending $100. Your bill was up there but that included a Keurig and an air fryer so not bad. It is sure good to see you and James. I think you did a good trim job. I love that kinda beard because it’s neat. In Swedish the cabbage rolls is called: Kåldolmar (cabbage dolmas) and we eat it with cooked potatoes or mashed potatoes, gravy and lingonberries and freshly pickled cucumber. 😉😊

Aw, you made my mouth water too with those cabbage rolls, they looked absolutely delicious! I wonder how you compared them to your Mama's. My favorite meal growing up was my Dad's chicken and dumplings and though I make it and it tastes amazingly delicious, it just never seems to compare or "be" Dad's chicken and dumplings.

Alot of the prices are just about the same here in Louisville Ky. I use to work at Walmart years ago and I would go to Meijers to get their meat which is where I work now. Also get quite a bit at Costco.

Check out that size of RAGU! Wow! That was expensive, I do not know how you young people are affording this, this current economic situation will not change but at least you are in a beautiful state.

Hey Lexx….cabbage rolls looked great…..I make my filing with hamburger,rice,and onion……only tomato sauce!!! Served with perogies and a sausage, like mennonites……cabbage rolls freeze well also,so you have another dinner when you don’t feel like cooking!!HOW did James like them????????💞👍

Another way to make the cabbage roles , no diced tomatoes but a can of tomatoes soup and a little bit of vinegar ( I know sounds wired but try it )…
