I was on this cruise oct 2nd to 9th at 60% capacity, weather was great, food was amazing and views breathtaking.

It was amazing! It was our 2nd time. First one was the very last sailing in Oct. 2021. Much different experience. We got much much closer to each glacier. Even went to Margerie glacier. I wonder why the captain didn't bring us to Margerie this time, or get as close this time around

We’re going in October as well and are wondering if there are still whales and other marine creatures around. Or is October just too late?

We saw a lot of whales in the distance on our way back to Seattle from the last port. It's never guaranteed though.

If you want to see whales, go to Lahaina Maui Hawaii in Feb & March! Stay at the Pioneer Inn (a small historic hotel) right at the harbor. Take the whale watching tours & you will see them all over the place!! It's absolutely amazing. These are humpback whales that have migrated from Alaska to give birth & to mate. The tours are affordable, so you should be able to go out multiple times. BYT, I will be on NCL Encore Oct 15 from Seattle.
