She’s an industry plant. And it wasn’t sudden. She was in the music business for a decade before she got her development deal where they re-created her image, and she came out with this album so she was quite comfortable with performing. Not to mention, she wasn’t quite the biggest star, but she was pretty popular for two summers

Yeah, but there's vocal parts here where it's a total ripoff of Dolores O'Riordan from The Cranberries. Just remember Zombie was released before Jagged Little Pill/You Oughta Know. I thought that back then and I still think that. Not taking anything away from Alanis because she's incredibly talented. This was great for a live performance.

This is one of my favorite songs from Alanis Morrisett love her. Along with Taylor Hawkins as drummer.
I was there with my best mate, Adrian. Alanis came on in the afternoon, followed by lots of artists, including Bob Dillon, The Who, doing a full rendition of Quadraphenia, and Eric Clapton closed. Over 200,000 people in Hyde Park that day. Alanis blew it apart and (with Dave Navarro on guitar and Taylor on drums), was the absolute top act amongst giants. Alanis knocked it out of the park. RIP Ade, old friend, and TH x

I seen her last year, and she sounds JUST as wonderful as she did here. I could argue her voice has matured to an even more pleasent sound, but then I am just splitting hairs when it isn't necessary. lol But if anyone has thought about seeing her live, go do it. You won't be disapointed at all.
Man I love that chick and her music! 1 in a million! Maybe trillion!
Thank you for posting!
All respect due to Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters, but Alanis is simply on another level when it comes to melodies, writing and sheer voice creativity. Jagged Little Pill is a timeless classic. This just makes me respect Taylor Hawkin more than I already did.
