I wanted to Watch Roger Moore necking with Fiona Fullerton, but instead I have to watch a giant Michael Bolton lookalike in a tight vest throwing an oven over bales of hay
I remember the first time this was televised. It came directly after the office series two on bbc 2. One at nine o’clock the other at nine thirty. What a time to be alive
I love how Michael has a little circle of lonely men he feels he has a duty to be friends with. Brilliant writing 😂

Yeah. I think the realisation by Alan that he is the 'sad and lonely ' one out of the two of them. I always thought he kind of hung out with Michael to make himself feel better.
I love the face Partridge pulls after Michael says "he likes American stuff" 🤣

I used to have periodic work trips to Leicester where I would stay on my own in an awful Premier Inn. I definitely ended up being Alan. Scary.

Just noticed the massive cut between getting a Ginsters and “hang around the states”. You can hear Alan open the pastie and then he’s suddenly at the till. I’ve watched this shit far too much 😂

@@jayaybe1 Peter Serafinowicz, amazing voice actor. He voices Darth Maul in the first Star Wars prequels, but has done dozens of voices on radio and Television. His Mrs is that dazzling blonde Sarah Alexander from Green Wing and Armstrong and Miller, used to present The 11 O'Clock Show on Channel Four when Daisy Donovan finished.

I prefer David Attenborough at least he’s more honest he interviews real mice.
Root beer is like fizzy benylin... remember after me parents broke up for a while me dad lived in a bebsit and one of the others who lived there was called Tex and yes he had the tasseled coat and cowboy hat.... Alan finding out he wasn't the only one...just love partridge...laugh out loud in public and not care... brilliant...
Makes me laugh I use to watch Alan Partridge at school and everybody took the piss. Now everybody quotes the show.

I had a friend who put on an American accent which he claimed to have picked up. In Europe.
And this series isnt even as good as the first series - this whole scene is packed full of jokes - amazing how good this was

Check him out in Black Books, has a reading voice that sends Fran mad, she gets orgasms just from hearing him talk. I still like him most as in the ITV sitcom "Hardware" as Martin Freeman's pal Kenny. If you haven't seen Hardware, it really is worth at least one spin
