00:28 That cut from "H'way the lads, man!" to Alan being sheepishly interviewed by the roadside is comedy gold
Calling Lynn in the middle of the night to help him steal a cone 🤣🤣🤣

And then he gets sick into it!
I like that even in his own dream, he digresses and feels compelled to explain.
Great acting during Lynn's panic
Honestly my favourite line is Alan’s excitement over Lynn being fully comprehensive “she’s a named driver💪”
Steve is great at looking shifty
“My peoples pringle is modelled on an SAS balaclava”, Alan’s lap dancing interludes are something else, classic partridge. 😂

@@George-df4uc It's a body language reaction often used when people are telling lies. They're subconsciously covering their mouth because a lie just found its way out.
Cone but not forgotten.
The thing I've always loved about Alan's weird daydreams about lapdancing for Tony is the way it cuts back to Alan then shows a very quick flash of the dance again. It just makes it extra trippy and emphasises the fact that he's losing his mind
Lynn trying desperately not to laugh is just magic 😂
Quality acting when Alan turns into a 6 year old boy...
Bill...Bill.. Bill Carrr, Bill Carr TEN
I've got a clean licence, yours is dirty. hahaha
After rewatching the series countless times, I don’t know how Lynn puts up with Alan’s rubbish
STOP TELLING ME WHAT TO DO!
Ive watched comedy for almost 40 years, in many different languages, I think his disco inserts when he dances in a thong, have to be one of the funniest and most left field things Ive seen, I wonder who came up with this idea, coogan or ianucci?

Ianucci is responsible for the surreal elements.

Am sure I saw a video of them both working together and laughing - they'd choose the bits where they laughed the most to put to film

Alan's so nervous he breaks the fourth wall at 0:35
We've all been there Alan
Who remembers John Major's major policy initiative, the Traffic Cones Hotline? There will still be someone in a Norwich pedestrianised Call Centre standing by.
I always find that dancing a bit disturbing.

Many thanks alan the end of this episode introduced me to the "call me " song from go west ...
The actress playing Lynn, Felicity Montagu, hid her face because she was corpsing (according to the commentary).
