This was Partridge at his peak, pretty much. His first chat show series and this are way ahead of anything he did after that.

Alan Partridge is a wonderfully unique comedy character from the UK that isn't even fully appreciated in the UK! I love the later iterations of the character (post him being a football pundit) and I cant really describe him to others in a way that would make them think he is worth watching. But if you get his mindset and his superiority complex combined with his utter idiocy you will never stop loving him!
