Is this a cover? If not, this is a masterpiece Alan can call his own. This is probably the truest, most traditional and classical country song I have ever heard by him. Those lyrics; that instrumentation… Unreal.

This makes me sad because I used to work on Freight Trains at CSX Transportation Inc in Miami, Florida ( Hialeah Yard ) but not anymore! Love this song though! Hopefully I'll go back to it one day with Florida East Coast Railway, Norfolk Southern Railway, or BNSF Railway. I work on Tugboats at Moran Towing now but interestingly enough they have Locomotive Motors in them too! Lol! Still hearing those EMD 710s roar!!

Wish this Covid would go away so we could come to the states to see this great man in concert again. In Australia and a few years ago, the wife says, “ I just bought us tickets to an Alan Jackson concert” I said “ Is he coming to Australia?” No he’s at the Ascend in Nashville May 2017. So we built a holiday around his concert, best live concert we’ve ever been to..probably the most expensive if you include the air fares lol 😆
