Olivia I feel like they already talked about it personally and went through everything on their own, but then they had to go through it all again for production. Or maybe it was just the fact that she had a bunch of cameras watching her that made her really nervous. I just feel like production is making this harder and more awkward for them

There is no way that they first talked openly in front of the cameras. This was the producers forcing them to recreate. She's not an actress and her feeling are reall and it has got to be hard to be that young and be openly vulnerable on front of millions. I love them together. I hope they work out.

I think their relationship is genuine, not just for the votes. I believe they started out as innocent partnership, but I feel Alexis actually started to have feelings for Alan on Week 3(Most Memorable Year Week) where she showed her feelings and vulnerable side to him. Did you see how Alan hugged her from behind after the dance finished. She held on to his arms like how couples do and I can sensed she felt safe with him...Week 4 came and I do feel Alexis is a bit intimidated to dance with Maddie and felt jealous that she has to "share" the dance floor with Alan. Maybe this feeling prompted her to start developing crushes towards Alan, which we saw the interviewer asked her the cringing question on Disney week. On top of that, Alan is shown to be great with kids, sophisticated, caring and patience on DWTS Juniors (aired during that period), making him irresistably charming in her eyes. I think Alan's awkwardness last week was due to the fact that he's not quite sure how to handle the situation and I dont think he has a girlfriend previously, and his partner just declared love feelings for him on freakin live TV....that's understandable. Having said that, I do believe this is their best dance throughout the competition...both looked relax and beaming. Both of them are gorgeous. That's my observation.

aurora michelle the fact that they broke up right after the show does not mean that their feelings for each other were completely fake during the show. a lot of relationships start and don’t last that long. being around a guy or girl your age for as long as they were around each other, your bound to have feelings for the at some point, so I fully believe it was real and not fake. plus we don’t know what when on after the show. it probably just didn’t work out.

I agree the kissing scene was staged, obviously they aren't gonna confess their feelings for the first time on camera when they spend all this time together every day, lmao. But it still doesn't mean their feelings are fake, and people need to respect that. I know Alexis just broke up with her boyfriend, but neither of them are the type to fake a relationship for votes. Alexis even tweeted about it. Duh it's going to be hard to confess your true feelings about your DWTS partner on national television in front of so many cameras. They aren't actors, of course it's awkward!! It would be for anyone! Everyone needs to give them a break. They always seem so happy together and their chemistry onstage is insane. If they're happy, I'm happy. The only thing not making me happy is all of these cringey interviews asking them questions they clearly don't feel comfortable answering. It puts so much pressure on them when they are only focused on working on their dances for the show show right now, especially given the amount of times they've been in jeopardy. This isn't the bachelor, it's *Dancing* With The Stars. It really isn't our business how they really feel about each other until after the finals, but until then, I hope everyone can shut up. Their relationship shouldn't be a reason not to vote for them when they are clearly one of the strongest couples left on the show, Alexis's improvement since the start of the season has been crazy, and she dances like a pro.
