Alain Ducasse: no 3 Michelin stars and tasting menu. But still great

Alain Ducasse does not only 3 Michelin stars restaurants and fancy tasting menus. The great chef also has a simple paris bistrot in the heart of Paris that will blow your mind. It serves "peasant's food". No jokes. This is the real "haute cuisine".
Au Lyonnais Alain Ducasse is a must visit for everyone who lover typical french food.
Do you know what "Bouchon Lyonnais" is? The answer is simple, tasty, yummy bistro. Here is a great example by Alain Ducasse in Paris. Traditional "home-made" food, huge portions and very casual atmosphere. Great reasons to try Restaurant Aux Lyonnais, L'esprit Bistrot Par Alain Ducasse.
Yes, here you will not find a typical Alain Ducasse tasting menu. Yes, it's not a 3 Michelin star restaurant. But it's a-la Carte and it's phenomenal food is worth a visit.

I cannot concentrate on the food or to whatever you try to show to your viewers because of your editing. Fast chop editing is not suitable for this kind of video. I believe I'm not the only one who feel dizzy after just a few seconds on watching this on full screen.

And this is how a michelin star restaurant operates... By having the owner have many other restaurants or bistros like this. They are the real money makers, not the 3 star places. When you think about it, the higher the stars, the less of a profit does the owner actually make. 1. Rent-most 3 star places have amazing locations in old castles, centers of town etc. So naturally, the rent would be insane 2. Staff-want the best restaurant? Gotta have the best staff. And they don't come cheap. 3. Ingredients - most 3 star places have Lobster, Caviar and many other exotic and super expensive ingredients on the tasting menu, so yeah, they cost a lot. 4. Price - sure, you can always find super rich celebrities and business men who have a lot of money who have no problem dishing out 500 dollars on dinner for one person, but let's be real for a moment, most people don't have that kind of money and won't pay for it, so you gotta dampen your prices to try and attract the middle class as well as the rich. That means instead of making a 150% profit margin on that Norwegian lobster you make 120 or even 110%. And that, combined with all the other costs makes it unsustainable to keep up with the cost of running the place.

Good point. Actually Alain Ducasse makes money not only on bistros, but also on "merchandise" - Alain Ducasse chocolate, books and so on. But yes, this is true - real money makers are that kind of restaurants. And 3 Michelin stars are the "faces"

Your fast chop editing is awful and completely at odds to the enjoyment and display of the food ... I don't need to see the waiter I only need to hear his descriptions ... Focus slowly on the food please ... Your speed is more suited to McDonald's than fine dining ...rush rush rush ...

Why do you only go to restaurants in Europe? Is Europe the only elite part of the world capable of providing an elite life? There are street food joints in Japan with better quality food and service than in a one-Michelin star place in Europe.
