That WRONG LEVERRRRRRR reference gets me every time. I don't think this particular show was recorded, but I attended one where the Genie had a staring contest with Jafar. Then the Genie said, "Are you wearing eyeliner? You look like Amy Winehouse!" I DIED.

As a theare kid, Genie's recital of all the different actors who played Jafar, Aladdin, and the Genie was a really touching tribute to everyone who made that show magical over the years. Glad to see they had fun with their last show!

The guy who did Genie was really giving it his all for this final performance.

Starting up friend like me I was worried it wouldn't be so over the top but at the end of the number I shut my trap I feel like theirs some real talent at Disney trying to push through the penny pinchers

44:44 Every time I watch this, it never fails to amaze me at how this Genie was able to remember all of the names of all of the Jafars, Aladdins, and other Genies. It was a very touching tribute to all of the previous actors.

I agree with you. I love Frozen, but I have to admit that replacing an already awesome show, like Aladdin, with a show based off Frozen is overkill. I loved the Genie's jokes (especially the Extreme Makeover: Prince Edition one). RIP Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular.

I have to agree, taking this show away was a huge mistake on Disney's part. This is iconic and captivated audiences from all ages and brought people together with laughter and joy. This is a sad time, and i like frozen, but don't fix it if it ain't broken. Millions of people will remember this wonder show, but its a travesty on Disney's part to have taken away this memorable show. Long Live Aladdin Musical Spectacular!!!!

I remember her! She waved right at me during one of the shows I saw when I was 18. (Let's just say that that was a very long time ago...) The entire time I was at Disney, I'd run to California Adventure and get in line for every single showing they had every day...normally ended up in the front row...so she might have recognised me.

You can really tell that this is the last performance, and that ending bit is really bitter sweet

This is so sad. I wish I could have caught this show while it was still active. Hopefully Disney will bring it back once or twice a year for special occasions. I love this show even while only watching it on youtube.

Not even lying, I nearly cried. Saying goodbye to a show like that must be so hard for all of them

For this show to be replaced by Frozen is such a disappointment. Aladdin is such a beloved classic that kids still love today, Frozen is getting pushed down all of our throats even at Epcot. My five year old niece is even sick of Frozen !!!

+Julie Delahooke There was so much love and applause for every single cast that day. I was at the first showing on the 10th and there was a lot of cheering throughout the show, for all the characters (including Jafar & Iago too, which I thought was nice as they normally don't get as much love during the show since they're the villians haha--so glad the entire cast got a lot of love that day). and definitely a standing ovation at the end :D also lots of tears both onstage and off :') i waited 3+ hours for this show on the last day and it was well worth every second! ^_^

When I first heard it was gonna be replaced, I cried. This show was amazing and made my visit truly magical. It was tradition to see it every time we visited the park. I'm glad I got to see it on the final week.

I was recently on the cruise and I love the Aladdin musical. It's one of my favourites.

Bring back Aladdin! There's a live action now so kids know it! This is perfect!

This is who they should've gotten to play Genie in the live-action Aladdin. Edit: Well, it's been a while since the movie came out, and while I still stand by my original statement, I feel bad for all the shit Will got initially, since he was easily the best part of the movie.

If it were up to me I'd declare "enough with Frozen!" and virtually kick Frozen out of the parks. I'd bring this show back and try to get it to outrun Cats and Phantom of the Opera and rotate it with the Tangled musical that just premiered on the Disney Cruise Line. I'd even restore Maelstrom to Epcot as if it were never gone. Tangled is better than Frozen and that is a fact. In fact Batman & Robin was a better movie than Frozen too and anyone who says otherwise can "Freeze in hell."

***** It IS a fact. The people who like Frozen are brainwashed zombies who don't know what a good movie is. I'd punch someone in the face for liking Frozen. Most actually people hate Frozen, too. The Lion King is different because Elton John was involved and not those jokes called the Lopezes. All Disney movies nowadays have to have Alan Menken, Randy Newman, or a rock legend like Elton John, or Phil Collins writing the songs. And besides banning Frozen from all Disney parks, I'd also bring back Alien Encounter complete with the breath on your neck and blood splatter from the maintenance guy who gets eaten in the catwalk. Any parent who complains that it traumatized their kid would be asked "What's wrong McFly? Chicken?"

I've never gone to see Aladdin live while it was still playing and I wish I'd did now

Jeez, it's already been a year! And I'm still so sad about Aladdin being gone. Ever since I was a little kid I always got excited to watch the play. Even though I've already seen it hundreds of times. Don't get me wrong, I still love the Frozen play, but this show will always have a special place in my heart. Honestly I have no idea what I'm doing here.

The crowd booing at Aladdin for not setting Genie free is my favorite part

+James Collins I'm not tired of it. I know lots of kids who aren't tired of it. Last time I was at the park, many many people standing around me were singing their lungs out along with "Let it Go" during the fireworks. Don't project your tastes on everyone else.

+James Collins Speak for yourself please , in my opinion Frozen is one of the best Disney films made. It kind of makes fun of that fact that Disney Princess's fall in love far too quickly in which Elsa even says you can't marry someone you just met, towards the end of the film the true love is between sisters rather than Anna and Kristoff which is an important message that not a lot of Disney movies have. The princess Anna is shown to be equal to Kristoff rather than just sitting back and letting the man take care of all the work , it shows young girls that women can save the Prince as well as the Prince saving the princess. They also did a really good job at hiding who the villain was as Disney movies are usually predictable , I think Aladdin and Frozen are equally as exciting and no offense to Jasmine but Anna is a much better role model for girls.

+Tori Adams Everyone I know say they like Frozen because Elsa was a strong, independent woman or whatever. What about Merida from Brave? Even Tiana from The Frog Princess was independent before Elsa. These Disney princesses are already underrated, and Elsa and Anna are so overrated. Yes, the movie is great, but people have made it seem like the best Disney movie ever! They made it annoying with people constantly talking about it. And the Frozen play that replaced Aladdin sucks so much. The cast is terrible, odd and can't sing. Stick with the classics.

Love how in the very end all of the stagehands come out and join with the cast! Definitely gives credit where credit is due!

I remember seeing this musical at Disney California adventure when, I was just a kid.

Wow..I can't believe this is it :'( The Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular Show has always been in a special part in my heart :'( I have been watching this show since I was 4 I can't believe they are replacing this with a Frozen show! Ugh! Come on Disney! Replacing a beautiful classic with a movie that people are TIRED OF? Frozen has taken over the entire parks if DISNEYLAND and CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE Frozen has their own part in a parade The song Let It Go is in the World Of Color show The song Let It Go is in the Disney Fireworks Show Frozen replaced Muppet Vision 3D with a Frozen Sing-A-Long FROZEN THIS, FROZEN THAT! But now. . . You're going to replace the Aladdin show with a FROZEN SHOW?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! THAT IS WHERE YOU CROSS THE LINE I CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS! UGH! IT IS DISNEYLAND, NOT FROZENLAND! I love this Genie! He is the best among all the versions I've seen. What is his name??? Also, RIP to Aladdin, he also played the best Aladdin in my opinion....♡ So sad to hear this has been replaced by Frozen....

No offense to Frozen lover but I really wished they didn't changed Aladdin !! I love them so much, Im so sad that I didn't get to watch the last show 😭

+Spinlok If I were president of the Disneyland Resort, I'd have Frozen kicked out, bring back Aladdin, and put the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter from WDW in Tomorrowland. I assume your username is based on the character from the attraction?

Network So you're saying that Frozen, the highest grossing animated film currently, is worse than Home on the Range, Chicken Little, or the reason Disney almost went out of business, The Black Cauldron? Frozen might have a rather weak plot and generic characters, but compared to some of Disney's other works it's not the worst Disney movie of all time.

i liked frozen when it first came out, but it's gotten old VERY fast after all that disney's been doing with it. i loved this aladdin show and while i agree that disney should make room for change, can't they at least come up with something different that isn't frozen? there's simply too much of it

Moana would make for a good stage show. The Rocks character would make for a great dynamic character. The shape shifting concept would be beautiful on stage, as well as the raft setting and ships.

You are a Disney villain. You're like THE Disney villain, do you realize that?!? You're like all sorts of Disney villains all rolled into one right now. You got Scar's thirst for power, you got Hades' temper, you got Captain Hook's craziness, you got Maleficent's dress, you're carrying around Kaa from The Jungle Book, you even had a half-wit sidekick, kinda like Kronk from The Emperor's New Groove... So...*snickers* That'll make you Yzma!

I just wish the Hyperion Theatre could have both Aladdin and Frozen musicals showing at different dates

I can't believe that they got rid of this amazing show. As a kid I loved watching this. I haven't been to Disney in about 4 or 5 years and I was really hoping ,that when I go back, to see one of my favorite shows that Disney has. 😪 it's a shame that it's gone now.

I only got to see this twice. Both in the same trip because it was that good. But I loved it so much. It saddens me that it is gone.
