Alabama performs "Tennessee River" live at the Farm Aid concert in Austin, Texas on July 4, 1986. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

Greatest Band of all time. R I P Jeff Cook incredible musician.
I still remember today the time my best friend and fellow music lover came into the local tavern and pulled me out and said ,you have to hear this new band. It was Alabama and I was blown away which even today their music is still the best!!

I was there. Music was great! Many big name stars. Weather was hot, hot. Traffic was horrendous it took 3 hrs to drive less than 20 miles out of Austin to Manor Downs.

Jeff Cook on guitar and fiddle! Very talented man!... although, his 2017 diagnosis with Parkinson's has greatly challenged his ability to play the fiddle any longer.
