I believe dynasties will be next to impossible in the future with NIL, transfer portal and 12 team playoff with super conferences to come. I’m a huge bama fan but it’s time most likely to simply look back with reverence to what Saban gave us and be happy with a percentage of that greatness in the future.

When that happens it's not the coach that makes those decisions dude. The President and University big shots makes those decisions. They literally pay outside 3rd party people to investigate these claims and go by what they hear back. Kid was just now arrested, if they had enough information I'm sure he'd have been arrested sooner. If the cops just now arrested him the University probably didn't know much at the time.

Alabama retired the white helmets in 1971. Perkins brought them back a couple of games in the eighties but frankly messing around with the uniform is bush league stuff. Alabama is above that kind of nonsense. Let the cow college down the road have they orange jerseys.

Who else would we have gotten? Kirby, Sark, Lane, Norvell, Lanning all said no and got contract extensions (except for Kirby I think). Who else was there? DeBoer is a winning coach who has won wherever he has been. He took an ok Washington roster to the Natty game, and got close to winning. He’s got the tools, support, and know-how to win here. He won’t be Saban-no one will be. But he’s a great replacement. I’m excited to see how well he does.

The DeBoer critical comments can not be coming from true Bama fans. He is not Coach Saban and most likely will never be Coach Saban. However his history as a HC is very impressive. His commitment to Bama and the pursuit of excellence so far are commendable. I am more than happy that Coach DeBoer is taking over for Coach Saban. I am very excited to see Coach DeBoer with his new Bama staff and new Bama team this season. Roll Tide!!!
