Good review. As a country ass white fella married to a Mexican woman here in Texas I have a lot of experience with Mexican beer. My personal favorite is Negro Modelo. Don’t be fooled by the dark color, it is relatively light and it’s very good. Big fan of XX too.

I feel like XX really needed this win. It was the biggest drink in college (early 2010s), and out of nowhere rivers of Modelo started flowing at parties everywhere.

I saw the original one he did, and when I saw him reviewing again I watched just to make sure he opened the Model right this time haha.

I lived in Mexico for a while and Sol was my #1. Modelo Negra and Indio came in 2nd and 3rd.

I haven't tried Sol, does it come in tall cans? Sometimes I drink a Pacifico, or corona can from 7-11. Don't remember estrella jalisco having tall ones but had at bar as well as bohemia. Family likes modelo but I've never liked it.

Modelo Especial is my favorite beer from Mexico. However, Mexican beers in Mexico taste slightly different in Mexico than the Mexican beers imported to the United States. Coors banquet, is my favorite beer of all time.

My go to beer is Pacifico, so you second thinking it made me so happy. It's a clean beer, it's the only beer I don't get a hangover with. It beats modelo in terms of hang over head aches... Modelo is brutal hangover after a long night.

I liked that Dos XXs won but hated to see Tecate not make it to the championship. Both great beers.

You put the championship in the 1st round! Victoria and DosXX are the 2 best in this list! 3. Modelo 4. Pacifico

If I may… dos x leaves you with that copper after taste in the morning. I would definite recommend Sol as one to be able to drink all night at the peda and wake up with no actual hops taste on your mouth

Sol is like water. They stocked that in the minibar in our resort in mexico and, while refreshing, they went down like water and much to the same effect

In the late 90’s Cerveza Sol was everywhere (even had a lot of product placement like The Matrix movie), now you can barely find it here in Mexico and almost no restaurant carries it

I'm a dark beer fan so I prefer the Modelo Negra over the regular. I've wondered since I've heard of both Tecate and Pacifico, but never tried Pacifico, though I've heard it's a top beer.

I prefer Bohemia Vienna Lager over all of these. It’s only available in Mexico though. But their Pilsner is available in the States and it has a fuller body than the other Mexican Pilsners in the States. If you’ve had their Vienna, I think you’ll appreciate their Pilsner. There’s a slight roastiness, lighter than the Vienna obviously, but I taste a similar brewing style.

Tecate and Carta Blanca really underrated, but are the favorites here in Northern part of Mexico.

Sol was always my favorite. Plus from my home state of Veracruz. Negra modelo is my wnd favorito and modelo especial my 3rd.

Ashla reminds me of my friend Mallory who’s a singer in the Nashville band Crimson Calamity. Ashla looks and sounds like a close sibling of Mallory’s. So weird.

Two of my go to beers are at the championship round. Pacifico I good beer on it own. Dos X is smooth and no bitter after taste, great to accompany any meal. Carne asada

I drank Sol when I was iny early 20s, been drinking craft beers since. A few months ago a pulled an ice cold Sol from an icy/water cooler and thought "I haven't had one in yrs". I've been buying Sol when ever I can find it.

Nobody drinks Sol in Mexico. At least not in Jalisco, Oaxaca, CDMX, Puebla, Tabasco, Campeche, Veracruz, Querétaro, Yucatán or Quintana Roo. Not the popular one in any of those states.

Victoria is waay better than Estrella Jalisco, Corona Extra and a couple others you put first..

I just recently got into Superior. I don’t know if it’s because of the weather or my taste buds changing but it’s very enjoyable during summer.

You are missing Carta Blanca, Barrilitos, Baja, Allende, Minerva and Nevado, if you liked Dos Equis, you will fall inlove with the ones mentioned here!

This completely logical test, officiated by a lady and conducted by a scholar came to the absolute correct conclusion!

Dos Equis, Bohemia are somewhat German biers. Probably others, as well. All hot weather beers.
